His angry eyes pierced into mine, I receded in discomfort when he clasped my neck. "Where do you think you're going to princess!?." He yells making everywhere shake. "Please, let me go." I beseeched in tears. "I'll destroy you the same way I killed your father, the king." His grip on my neck became tighter, his eyes glowed red as I began to cough out black blood. I was suffocating, my vision became blur, all I could see is darkness taking over me. "Your powers are weak just like your father...." He whispers.

Now that she was right in front of him, walking toward his car, he felt his body react in a way that was dangerous. Kane inhaled sharply. She was small. Petite in height, but fucking curvy. Her black jeans hugged her thighs and ass in a way that made his grip on the steering wheel tighten. The black turtleneck she wore was tucked in neatly, accentuating her waist. And that damn hair—fiery red waves spilling from her loose bun, falling around her face like a halo. The burning sensation rippled through my body could only be described as an incredible surge of power and rage. Like right before I shifted, but Fury held back.
