Seven Years for One Regret

Seven Years for One Regret

I didn't even know which of his promises were real anymore. I lifted my head, gazing at him, and murmured, "It's been seven years. We've been together for seven years." His indifference melted a little. He leaned across the desk and pulled me into a tight hug. "I know you've waited a long time, but right now, the company is at a critical point," he murmured. "I can't get distracted. I need to focus on work. This company is something we worked hard to build. We've come so far. You understand, right?"

A Fabrication of Seven Years

A Fabrication of Seven Years

"Honey, isn't it rude to leave your classmate standing there?" Quinn did not look back at me. "He's just a classmate I barely know. How could he be more important than you?" Tears fell before I could stop them, and the other passing employees watched my humiliation with scorn. Ten years of relationship, seven years apart, and a journey of more than 600 miles. All I got was "a classmate I barely know" in the end. There was still a message Quinn had sent three days ago on my phone. The text went: [Conrad, give me a little more time. Once my job is stable, we'll get married.]

I was seriously going to stop reading this book as it is a bit expensive and the story was deviating from the central plot. But today I unlocked a chapter again and I am totally happy after reading it. And I found the author cut out some irrelevant Oakphet portions and added new content. Good work👍

After Five Years

After Five Years

We didn’t just want to build a clinic; we wanted to create real change. As I glanced at Mrs. Narti’s dimly lit house next door, a question suddenly popped into my mind that had been swirling around without an answer. “Julien, Ratna said she’s seven years old, right?” I furrowed my brow, trying to formulate my words. “But Mrs. Narti looks… well, she’s probably over fifty. I’m just… curious. I mean, why at that age does she still have such a small child?”

apprehensive at the start, the first two chapters were slow, but I get it, it's the back story. I'm happy I stuck with it. if you're reading this, push through the first few chapters, it's worth it and over not even read the entire book yet

This story really turned into something great as we get to know the main characters in the first story. The second half was so good. So love the continuation of the story with the next generation and new mates in part two. Part three just got started and I’m loving it. Definitely a good read!

Just for two weeks

Just for two weeks

Their dads were somewhat perplexed when they told them they had become members of the country club at the age of 12. From the age of 12 to 15, Jason and his friend golfed and caddied every chance they could. Many days after school, they would hitchhike their way to the country club. They caddied to keep their agreement and played every chance they got and made good money.

Beyond the Guilty Pleasure

Beyond the Guilty Pleasure

Tears streamed down my face as the clock reached that moment. As I looked at my nephew, I realized that this was the best way to remember this day going forward: seven years of pain, but after today, it would be a happy day for the rest of our lives. Our lives fell apart exactly seven years ago today. It took seven years for our lives to finally start falling together. It will be a day of celebration and perhaps some tears as he approaches his seventh birthday. After seven years, it was time to let go of the past and the present and get on with our lives.
