I just wish I wasn't the only daughter. Things would have been a lot more different. Talking of siblings, I happen to have 3 elder brothers, they are great, the best infact. The first is Jake, Harrison is second and Derrick is the third, and all of them are single as hell!! I wonder if they had actually known about this marriage pact as well. Though, every now and then, I seem to notice that Jake has a thing for Harrieth...the way he looks when he talks to her, appears to be all sweet and gentle with her. He really is gentle, to be honest. Well I think, they look lovely together.

He was wearing the same white shirt he wore the day we first met, looking clean as he walked toward me. He didn't dare touch me. He didn't even dare look up. He simply fell to his knees before me, weeping silently. Then came my brothers—Luca, Matteo, Dante. They stood behind him with their heads bowed like children who had realized they were wrong, kneeling in a row. This time, there was no family honor, no Mafia rules, and no goddamn favoritism. They were just four souls drowning in regret. I looked at them and let out a soft sigh.

Both men possessed sharp, distinctive features, and it was evident that they shared a resemblance, hinting that they were somewhat related. "Long time no see, brother," the man on the right spoke. My breath caught in my throat, struggling to stifle the gasp that threatened to escape. Brother? These two were my father's brothers?! What the fuck?! They bore no resemblance to my father, neither in their features nor in their apparent age. "Dante," The name fell off of my dad's lips, his wide eyes betraying a deep recognition that spanned years. "Ah, so you do recognize us," Matteo, the man on the left, chimed in, a note of amusement lacing his words. "Impressive."

For a moment it seemed I had seen them but didn’t pay much attention to it, I needed to get the hell out of here. Trey walked towards us with a blank expression but a burning gaze as he faced his brother. “Don’t act up in front of our sister.” He held Dorian’s wrist tight, trying to lower the gun but Dorian remained unmovable. “Sister?” Dorian frowned. “Since when did we have a sister?” Trey rolled his eyes. “Well dad finally found true love and the woman has a daughter.” I guess this was new info to him although he didn’t show it on his face, he moved away slapping his brother’s arm away and turned to me. “Don’t you ever come in here or touch my stuff, otherwise bullets will end up in you.”

But my past had nothing to do with the six people standing in my kitchen, so I wouldn't give any explanations why I was receiving all these messages. Six people are standing around my kitchen table, their gazes focused on me as I walk around. I have learned the names of the five brothers, who all look strikingly alike: each has light brown curly hair, and they seem to be close in age. There are slight differences which distinguish them from one another, so they are not twins. But I understand how familial similarities can run deep; my sister Allison and I share many traits. So, I shouldn't judge this family.

This silence lasted for a while till Alejandro spoke again. “Nothing. There is no voice for him or does your son not talk?” he addressed his father before turning to all the other members on the table. “I will tell you why my brother is not here. He is not here because he does not respect any of us, he is a selfish brat that has chosen to disrespect this family again. My father will try desperately to make everyone here forget what happened 6 years ago but i will not forget. I will not forget how Diego made me lose my beloved mother and everything else that we hold dear. “I’m not bearing this all alone. Before Kaela could say anything more, I instantly mindlinked the three brothers. Keller reached out. “Teresa?” “I’m losing my mind,” “What’s going on?” His voice in my head panicked. “My study, now!” When his tone sharpened and he began asking a lot of questions, I unhinged. He should stop with the questions and show up here now before I actually lose my mind. While Kaela and Flynn shifted in their positions, the three brothers tumbled into the room three minutes later. Keller stormed in first, looking ready to destroy the first threat with his bare hands. Bennett followed closely behind, his face too straight.

The Ford brothers are a curse! I exhale sharply and rub my temple. “I’m tired. I don’t feel like eating.” His smile fades. He walks toward me. “Are you okay?” I shove him back. “Leave me alone.” He stares at me, stunned. “What’s wrong, Sara? Talk to me.” Something snaps. “I’m tired!” I shout. “Tired of you! Your stupid brother! Jason! Khlan! All of it! I just want to go home and have some peace!”
