The Battle of Bloodlines

The Battle of Bloodlines

stop in the middle of the road, it seemed like someone just appeared in front of me out of nowhere like he apparated or teleported I guess, and that made me numb for few seconds I was about to shout when suddenly he came a bit closer and I could see his face under the dim yellow street-light and I recognized him instantly, it was him the same guy from the book-store “Elvin”, I shouted. “What are you doing here and what the hell was that” I almost shouted but he was calm as an ocean with that same dignified look on his face with those same passionate green eyes and said “I was thinking about what you said that day at the book store lately and was also following you for couple of weeks and I t

Ninety-Nine Calls to Goodbye

Ninety-Nine Calls to Goodbye

"I am returning to Zurich tomorrow." He replied quickly. "Not staying a few more days?" "No. Things here are finished." I deleted Enzo's number. I deleted Rosalina's. I deleted Alberto's. My contact list was empty. A month later, I was sitting in my office in Zurich when an email arrived from Rosalina. It was long. I did not open it. I deleted it. Another came the next day. From Alberto. I deleted that one too. The day after that, Enzo wrote.

MY NEW HR IS THE MAN I SLEPT WITH.

MY NEW HR IS THE MAN I SLEPT WITH.

Maybe strangers. I buried my face in the pillow. “What’s going to become of me now?” I whispered to no one. I closed my eyes, wishing everything could just stop. The scandal. The whispers. My life. Everything. The phone kept buzzing over and over again, louder this time. I didn’t move. I was too scared to take it. I just wanted to disappear, vanish. I just lay there, trembling, the headlines still screaming in my mind, and for the first time, I couldn’t see a way out.

Promised to the Alpha

Promised to the Alpha

And then it seems like I'm woken up far too quickly. A clattering fills the space near me, and I wonder what could be going on. Everything keeps happening so quickly and in the most confusing ways possible. I don't know how to make sense of anything. I don't know whether to be scared or excited. Before I can figure out how to feel about anything, a group of three strangers comes to the front of my cell. One of the guys and the only female both have red hair, freckles, blue eyes, and pale skin. They both look incredibly strong, fast, and lean.

The Night He Found Me

The Night He Found Me

It was until that moment I discovered my nighties were torn. The strong scent of his cologne in his coat filled my senses and it made my mind hazy. I leaned into the coat for comfort. "In all my life, today would have to be the worst day of my entire life" I said out loud, not minding he was there. "I'm sorry you feel that way" He looked at me and I felt something I haven't felt ever since my mother died. That smile… This strange man was my saviour today. There were lots of things I have observed about this strange man, but the most dominant of them all is that he was very handsome.

fated love

fated love

As they conversed, Marvis discovered that the stranger was not merely a passerby but a fellow wanderer on the path of rediscovery. In the warmth of the bookstore's ambiance, Marvis sensed a connection that transcended the pages of the novels that surrounded them. Julian's enigmatic aura became a beacon, guiding her through the intricate layers of her own story. Their rendezvous in the quaint bookstore set the stage for a unique companionship, a literary dance where words intertwined, creating a narrative of shared passions, untold tales, and the unfolding odyssey of their intertwined fates.

The Day She Stopped Waiting

The Day She Stopped Waiting

The Stranger For one terrifying second— nobody moved. God. Not Adrian. Fair. Not Elena. Reasonable. Not Lily. God. Because Peanut was standing beside a stranger. Fair. A complete stranger. Reasonable honestly. And she looked happy. God. Perfectly happy. Fair. Which somehow made everything worse. Reasonable. Then Adrian crossed the distance. God. Immediately. Fair. Not running. Reasonable. Not walking. God. Something in between. Fair. The speed of a father who had spent the last fifteen minutes imagining every nightmare possible.

10 chapters in and I hope it’s second chance book. I love a good “leaving my shitty husband for a better man” plot but sometimes I love a good “I need to get my wife back” plot as well. Sometimes I want to read about how a relationship was pulled back from the brink and I feel this is goi to be it.

Pucked On Ice

Pucked On Ice

“We’re mere strangers.” “Strangers, huh?” I asked, a small smirk tugging at my lips. He nodded, though the movement was uncertain. I leaned down slowly, brushing my nose along the side of his neck, breathing in that warm honey and spiced apple scent that had been haunting me for days. “Well, can strangers do this?”

MY CHEATING HUSBAND'S VALENTINE SURPRISE.

MY CHEATING HUSBAND'S VALENTINE SURPRISE.

Something warm and terrifying and new. I'm starting to feel something for this man I barely know. This stranger who doesn't ask for anything, who doesn't make me feel small, who looks at me like I'm whole instead of broken. And that terrifies me more than Bryan’s betrayal ever did. Because caring again means risking everything all over again. And I don't know if I'm strong enough to survive another ending.

Chasing my Luna

Chasing my Luna

Their expression was calm but tinged with urgency. “You’ve come far,” the stranger said, their voice layered with echoes that reverberated through the very fabric of the room. “But your journey is far from over.” “I’m tired of riddles,” Jessica shot back, her voice rising slightly. “Tell me what I need to do.” The stranger tilted their head slightly, as though considering the question. “Do? There’s nothing left to *do*. Only to decide.” Before she could respond, the books began to fall from the shelves, each landing open at her feet. Pages flipped rapidly, revealing fragments of lives lived and lost, choices made and undone. Some showed moments of triumph; others depicted failures so profoun
