A Certain Magical Index Novel Novels & Stories

Took a book and waited for her to wake up. After an hour, Adelle woke up slightly confused. Seeing Bella silently reading a book, she sat down. "Bella, I had a dream, the table disappeared and reappeared like magic!!!" Adelle said while holding her head. "Hmmmm, it was not a dream...Poof!" The table disappeared again. And Adelle rolled her eyes and fainted...again. She covered her with a blanket and waited. After a while, she woke up. She sat down and stared at Bella. Confusion can be seen in her eyes, thankfully there was no disgust or fear. Truthfully, Bella was afraid of rejection. While waiting nervously for her to speak, Adelle took her hands trembling.

he asked mockingly. "Xavier, how is it possible?" his aunt's voice instantly put him on alert. Even Sebastian sat up straighter. "What happened?" the Alpha King asked. "The magical spell I had cast on the library, the section that comprises books about our Kind has been breached... by a human girl."

It was just like the woods in Eclipse pack filled with nothing but trees. "You'll be able to do this once you've opened the book." Was the only response she gave. "Looking up ahead." She instructed and I did just that. Just a short distance before us, was the exact same copy of the book in Miguel's room. "Is that….?" I gasped. "It is exactly what you think it is, Lila. That is the book of Mageia, a sacred heritage of our kind." She spoke proudly, staring admirably at the book floating in the air.

There where now books with titles such as The Witch Within You, Herbs and Pentagrams, Spells and the Sabbaths, True Magic in the World. Maddie had never noticed that there were so many books on that subject. She was shocked when Omem suddenly stood in front of her. ‘Are you coming, child? Lunch is ready.’ Maddie nodded and left the library.

"They have, ever since she was born." Cassandra set the little serpent among the piles of gold coins. The creature sagged in defeat and exhaustion after lying before that terrible fire. "There it is," Vasilisa's voice came from behind a mountain of walnut-sized raw rubies. It wasn't hard to find the book. It was placed on a golden stand in between two golden Sirin statues. The grimoire turned out to be the largest book Cassandra had ever seen, with pages made of parchment illuminated with tracery, and it was open to a page thickly covered with elegant, intricate writing.

Well, because I was. I licked my lips. “No. I’m not okay. Not at all.” Unexpectedly, Kaelen swooped in and tugged me against his chest. He enveloped me in his leather and whiskey scent, and his strong arms, and I let the rest of the world fall away. “Here it is.” Beau handed the book to Claire. “What exactly are we looking for in a book about magical blood feuds?” Claire ignored him as she flipped through and scanned the pages.

She imagined what it would feel like on the other parts of her body again. "Sil? Sil?" She snapped out of her thoughts though it took a little shake. "Penny for your thoughts". She smiled. "It wasn't something serious. Just random thoughts". "And you don't want to talk about it? Is it about the chimera?" He peered into her eyes. "No, no my love it isn't. I'm fine. What were you saying?" "Master Arcus left me a book, Magix of death and life." Sil looked at him wide eyed. "Isn't that the book about Necromancy?"

"Dangerous is good. It means you can change things... if you stop letting everything break you first." I blinked. That was... not what I expected. How could she analyze me so easily? She reached for another book and shoved it across the table toward me. It slid smoothly, stopping right at my fingertips. "Start with that," she said. "It has Low-level magical lore. Won't overwhelm you. Won't fry your brain. Might keep you from blowing up my brother's pack by accident." She met my eyes again. "And do me a favor?" A lazy grin tugged at her mouth. "When you inevitably mess something up... at least make it interesting. I hate being bored."

“How many?” Gregor asked, his hand already on his sword. The bloody man leaned against the doorframe, gasping for air. “All of them. Hundreds. Maybe thousands. They just started moving all at once, like something called them.” Kaden looked at Mother Elara. The old woman’s face had gone pale, her wrinkled hands gripping the edge of the table. “The pot,” she said quietly. “When I trapped the magic, it sent out a pulse. The Indexed must have felt it.”

And maybe, just maybe, that would be enough. Author's Note: I am never writing this shit again in my entire life. Do you have any idea how frustrating it is, to not leave any loose ends. I know you guys have forgotten this with all the craziness that is going on: LIke for example, this is not a normal werewolf story, like bro, Lumina literally spawned back to life a year ago, y'all had to know Magic would be a heavy hitter, with the compulsion spells, the magical siphoning. This was bound to happen. Also let's refresh our memory.
