He backed me into the shelf, and suddenly. Thud. A book tumbled from the shelf, hitting the ground hard. We both froze. I stepped away quickly, cheeks flushed. Aiden’s breathing was heavy, his lips still parted. I knelt down and picked up the fallen book. It was old, with a cracked leather cover and faded gold lettering. Dust clung to its surface like it hadn’t been touched in decades. I wiped it clean, flipping it open. I flipped through the pages, one after another, but nothing stood out at first. My fingers were starting to cramp from turning the pages so fast.

Hello readers, I want to thank every one of you for reading The F Word. And for those who have waited so long to see these chapters, I'm sorry for taking so long to update my book , and thank you for not abandoning it🙇‍♀️ I've been in stuck in a recurring writers block, mostly because my mental health these days have been low. But, I will try my best to give you guys an entertaining story. It is my first time writing a book where the main characters get together after a few chapters. So I'm sorry if it feels like their relationship is...well, boring.

The room is gravely quiet and the only sound that could be heard was our breathing and steps. He stopped in front of a shelf and retrieved an old black hardcover big volume book. He throws it on the table causing dusk to fly off making me cough. "Sit," he orders. I raise my brow at him challenging. He looks more hot when being bossy. Stop thinking about him that way. "I have no time for your little tantrums Lyka, sit down now." he orders seriously and I oblige. The last time I was hot headed, I ended up being chocked and I wouldn't want a replay, now would I?

I only had a year to find my answers, no distractions was a good way to start. "Venus, honey, are you ready?" My mom called me from the kitchen, as I opened my bedroom door. "Yes, mom be right there." I called back. Walking towards the kitchen, I was singing Famous Last Words out loud. "I am not afraid to keep on living, I am not afraid to walk this world alone, honey if you stay I'll be forgiven, Nothing you can say can stop me going home. Can you see my eyes are shining bright? Cause I'm out here on the other side of a jet black hotel mirror and I'm so weak..."

I stretch my hand out to him. “What for?” “In case you don’t return it on the date you wrote in the permission booklet, I’ll toss your card away and you’ll never step back in again.” He mumbles ‘bitch’ under his breath, dips his hand into his pocket and pulls out his card and hands it to me. I beam at him, and he rolls his eyes before leaving. I pray he doesn’t return it, so I can happily toss this into the toilet and flush. I sit down and pick up the novel ‘When star burns by Ninya Tippett’ on my desk, continuing from where I stopped before I got interrupted. Books such as these make me believe in love and that everyone would find it at the right time.

He didn’t reply right away but enclosed me in his arms. “Can we now start all over again?” he asked, smiling through his tears. I nodded and smiled. And at that moment, I also sent a quick prayer for Zed that he could also move on and start over. THE END Author's note: Thank you so much for reading Book 1 and 2. Rosemary’s Pov “I will eat later…” I say softly , offering him a smile. He exchanges a look with Xavier , but I do not stay for the lectures that I know is coming. Instead I walk to the entrance and sit on the floor in a crossed legged position – my eyes fixated on the fiery red flames that almost touches the sky. I sit out there for a while , enjoying the peace of being alone. At this moment , all I ever want is to be alone. I would often feel my stomach kick me with hunger , as my nose smelt the food that was cooking but I easily turned my attention back to the burning kingdom.
