This is a good novel. I love the synopsis and the start. It is thrilling in its own way. Good dialogues and grammatical structure author. This book is a keeper n it is quite lovely. I look forward to seeing Valerie and Enzo rise and conquer the underworld and enact their revenge. Good work author.

Taste Me Like It's Our Last Day On Earth

Taste Me Like It's Our Last Day On Earth

“Thank you.” Something shifts almost invisibly in his face, there and gone, the way his control sometimes costs him something he won’t name. Then it’s back in place and he is composed and unreachable again. “Go,” he says. I go. I make it through the lobby and out through the glass doors and into the open air before I let myself smile. Wide and private and entirely my own. One day. I got inside his walls, inside his home, inside the life he keeps locked and managed and perfectly controlled, in one single day.

The Day I Marry Without You

The Day I Marry Without You

The elders in the family are big on good omens, insisting we pick a nice date for the wedding for good luck. But after a fortune teller proposes nine potential wedding dates, Edward Colton turns every single one down. It's the tenth time now. Edward shakes his head yet again. I gaze at his handsome face and blurt out, "I think this date is perfect." Edward is busy scrolling through messages in his group chat, not even bothering to glance up at me. "This date won't work. Jolene and the others just mentioned they want to go to Hallibay for vacation. Turn down your mom's suggestion." I curl my fingers tight. His eyes remain fixed on his phone screen, as if he has endless conversations to t

Unfortunately, he suffered an accident and passed away, beyond cure. I didn't think I would enjoy this book, but I did. I commend the writer for a good job. The unexpected plot twist at the middle kept me glued and I couldn't stop reading. I enjoyed reading, it makes me angry, sad and happy. This is one of the best books I have read on this app.

Friendly advice. DO NOT READ!!! The book starts good, but around the middle and especially at the end is SOOO BAD. Too many clichés just to keep the book going. The writer loses tracks of characters and plot lines, leaving plot holes. There is barely any logic in what is written. HORRIBLE BOOK!!!

Rejecting Fate

Rejecting Fate

Lucas extends his hand and leads me to the dance floor. The music changes to “I Can Love You Like That” by All-4-One. I feel as giddy as a schoolgirl as the words of the song fill the outdoor space. Lucas takes my hand in his and places his other on my waist. Our eyes meet and we begin swaying to the music. “So, you must be excited that Daya is officially mated to Darius. They can lead the pack side by side now, right?” I start making small talk as we continue to dance. I can’t help but to notice how easy it is being with Lucas.

The Day I Stopped Waiting

The Day I Stopped Waiting

He added indifferently, "Guess someone's gotten a little too high on their pedestal. If you had better time management, would this have happened?" With that, he led Anna inside the building. Exhausted, I picked up the scattered contracts and returned to my office. Later that evening, Ethan sent me a cupcake. It was one of the ones he bought for Anna this morning. It was dragon-fruit flavored, probably because Anna did not like it and he was giving me the leftovers. He did not even know I was allergic to dragon fruit. As Ethan feigned concern, I looked at him one last time and asked, "It's been seven years. Just once, have you ever thought about marrying me and taking responsibility?"
