Not to mention spirits get active at night only. This is what most people believed. According to them, ghosts get active at night. However, the question was ~ Why? The reason is because of the change in the senses of the people. During the daytime, people remain preoccupied with their work, distractions, conversations, routines that they don't even notice subtle happenings.

"I don't give a damn about bad deeds in times like these!" he spat. "Jennet, get up!" Horan nudged her leg, his voice sharp with urgency.

I saw them once in a demonstration, but never a group this size.”

The stench is one of filth, decay, sewage, blood, and grime. Nothing less than nefarious ever happens in this hidden world full of crime and death. His eyes were lifeless and black, his skin was pale like a corpse that had been dead for some time. His nails were long and he had fangs instead of teeth. ‘Watch out for their bite, that’s how they fight,’ I said in everyone’s heads. ‘What are they?’ Slade asked. ‘Ghouls,’ I said. We were on the attack and I saw the ghouls go down easily but to my utter shock they stood up again after a few minutes of being killed. The only ones that remained dead were the ones I had burned.
