The Dangerous Game of Seduction

The Dangerous Game of Seduction

I said. " Don't think so much, accept them with a sweet thank you. Someone must have made a lot of effort to find suitable gifts for you without any help. At least appreciate the efforts. " Chris said. I wanted to argue but Aunt Sophie shook my head and signaled me to open them. I did open the first one. I was surprised when I removed the wrapping paper, it was a book, a book?? Really? I gasped when I saw it was, PANTONE VIEW Home + Interiors 2024 book.

House of Sighs

House of Sighs

I Never Dreamed Someone Like You Could Love Someone Like Me by Katie Irving. Reggie watched Jed open his gift. He tore the red cellophane away. She felt his expectation and smiled along. Revealed was a small, hardcover book on eagle breeds. It had been her husband’s idea to get it. And of course, Jed loved it, flickering through the pages and coming to a double-page spread, an eagle’s wings stretching from left to right. A beautiful illustration, she had to say. Very detailed. “You must have behaved yourself this year,” she told her son. “Santa’s been good to you.”

The Law Bound Enforcer - The Legacies Series - Book Three

The Law Bound Enforcer - The Legacies Series - Book Three

Hello everyone. I am sorry I haven't been able to finish this book. I have been struggling with my mental health and needed time to myself. I can't guarantee that things will return to normal, but I can tell you I am feeling much better. The holidays are very complicated for everyone with kids, and I worked extra hours then. Now that I have had some rest, I am still trying to occupy my mind with things like decorating my kids' bedroom and starting a huge spring cleaning in my house.

This book was good and enjoyable but since the updates have stopped coming in a timely manner I feel like can we just skip to the end. Just a brief overview what happened since we left off to the end would be fine.

I haven't read the previous two books about Wyatt and Dash, ai sonehow came upon this one and started reading, then found out it's a series. So I already know Wyatt and Dash have kids haha, so maybe that's why this book it's more interesting to me, because I don't know the conclusion yet.

The Christmas Contract

The Christmas Contract

“Thank you.” “You’re welcome.” Her mom had decorated the table nicely. Christmas leaves and small branches in the center, with tiny lights woven through them. Logan looked around. “That figurine in the living room is beautiful.” “The one with the three wise men?” Melody asked. “Yes. With Mary and Joseph and the baby Jesus I guess.” Melody laughed. “Mom has had that since I was a child. Every Christmas, she brings it out, cleans it, polishes it. And when the season is over, she wraps them like glass and packs them away.”

A Holiday Of Pain And Pleasure

A Holiday Of Pain And Pleasure

"Not long at all." "Ah," she said softly and lightly touched my arm. "Since Emmett never brings guests into his house, my entire family is quite shocked to know that you are spending the holiday here, with him. It's all new to us." My mind went to the face of her aunts and uncles when they had first seen me. I had caught no expression on their faces that supported this claim, but perhaps they could all read each other better than I could.

I don't like dropping reviews because some authors might end up disappointing me in the middle of the book and all that. But I have to drop this one because I'm enjoying this a little bit too much. Ps: Take the R18 warning seriously. Cause this author is straight to the point. Hahaha

Puck Me Hard

Puck Me Hard

Noah's P.O.V Thanksgiving Night The scent of roasted garlic and slow-cooked turkey clung to every inch of the Reid house. I could hear Mrs. Reid’s voice from the kitchen yelling at someone, probably Anna, for trying to taste-test the cranberry sauce before dinner. The house was glowing warm, every hallway and room filled with soft laughter and rich aromas and the sounds of a family that loved being around each other. I’d only been here for less than a day, and already it felt more like home than anywhere I’d ever known, making me wonder how I'd managed to stay away all these past months. It was no wonder I usually spent every holiday with the Reids.

Ripples And Hills

Ripples And Hills

Alexa (Prudence). Thursday, December 25th. Two weeks later… “Deck the halls with boughs of holly… fa la la la la…” Voices ring out around the fireplace in Grandma’s drawing room, rich and merry. The air smells of cookies, eggnog, roasted chestnuts, home. I even join in the chorus, eggnog in one hand, cookie in the other. We’re all here; me, Martha, Jace, Eve and their kids, Jon, Aunt Annika and Uncle Brian. Grandma beams from her chair, basking in her family. She was insistent this Christmas we would be together.

Dangerous Pleasures

Dangerous Pleasures

The new piece fit perfectly, and an hour later Sarah had the last of her stuff moved into our room. My heart melted a little as Sarah sat at her vanity with Heidi in her lap, pretending to put on makeup. After dinner we sat in our living room watching the snow fall quietly outside, while our fire danced about and the lights on our tree chased each other around the ornaments. Carols filled the air as we sang along. A holiday at home with my family.

The eight years old pointed out to her father and he immediately recognized the errors of his ways. Rory closed his eyes and I smiled Reign never stop at being the smart one. I bent down beside her and took her hands into mine and her green eyes locked in mine, “We are going to be giving out gifts to the children at three closest orphanages and then giving food to the homeless on the streets. As daddy said, it isn’t really what we do on holidays, especially on Christmas day, but we are starting this and probably going to continue and we want you to know and if maybe you don’t like our plan and would want to maybe stay with one of your uncles or your aunt during the holiday, we would understa
