New Year Surprises

New Year Surprises

"Are you kidding? He's had that thing since I've known him! It's like a part of him! You can't replace something like that" "You are not right. Some things are just irreplaceable" he says giving me a gentle squeeze on the shoulders. I smile back at her and put my arm around her waist, and with the sky already darkening as night approaches, we both trudge through the thick snow and head home. There is nothing like a woman's touch when it comes to making a house a home. Travis's normally cold and empty apartment now looks warm and inviting since I moved in and now that it's the holidays, it seems even warmer and more inviting. It's amazing how a few Christmas cards left on a table and a lighte

Silently Falling for Her

Silently Falling for Her

He said that he will be back a day before Christmas to finish up his work. This year we planned to celebrate Christmas in our home and new year in Alex and Adam's home. The kids would be happy to meet them all and celebrate with us. I know it would be packed in our house, but still, Athena, Liam, Aiden, Rosaline, Emily, and Lucas, and all of them insisted that they want to celebrate it with the kids. My mom was so happy that they all coming to our home to celebrate with us. It was our winter holiday days as we all spent our time with our families and friends. With the cold climate outside we went to the streets just wandering around and purchasing things for Christmas.

Divorced With His Heir In My Belly

Divorced With His Heir In My Belly

--- By five o'clock that evening, the winter dusk had settled deep over the Hudson Valley, turning the snowy landscape outside into a serene world of midnight blue and silver shadow. Inside the grand living hall, a massive stone fireplace roared with crackling maple logs, casting a rich amber glow across the dark wood paneling and the giant evergreen tree standing in the corner, sparkling with gold lights and hand-crafted ornaments. The kids, completely exhausted from their afternoon outdoors, were curled up on the rug near the hearth with Mae, drinking hot chocolate loaded with marshmallows while listening to her read a holiday storybook.

MISERABLE AT BEST

MISERABLE AT BEST

I refused to join them because I don't like to pretend I was enjoying a vacation when I have a lot of things going on in my mind. I started reading the book Aae left as a gift for Christmas. He went home while Tita Annly spent the breaks at the hospital. Like me, she's not fond of celebrating. I just visited the church during Christmas Eve and watched the fireworks outside the porch. It was sad, but I like it. I made a lot of realizations these past few days. I already touched the soft edge of the book when my eyes caught a glimpse of the flower pot near my coffee. The pink-fern like petals were swaying a little as the wind brushed against my hair.

Meet-Cute Me Under the Mistletoe

Meet-Cute Me Under the Mistletoe

“Not inside… I’ll just talk through the door, I guess?” Abigail chuckled. “Yeah, she’d like to know she didn’t scare you away.” I scanned the living area as I walked through. This was my first time being inside of Holly’s house. It was just as I’d expected, full of Christmas. She and Abigail had a nice Christmas tree in the corner next to the TV, and underneath were several well-wrapped presents. I had seen the garland wrapping the porch and the lights on the outside of the house, so I knew they were decorators. Most people in town were, and considering Holly’s love for Christmas, I had to assume she was too. There was the tree, some throw blankets and pillows, several little figurines here

Billionaire's Secret Baby - Special Delivery

Billionaire's Secret Baby - Special Delivery

But he hadn’t been prepared for the attack of past that enveloped him. His mother had always been keen on celebrating each holiday. After she passed, he hadn’t the heart to continue the tradition. It reminded him too much of what he had lost. But walking into his home, with all its fineries displayed so beautifully, and the woman who haunted his dreams sweetly sleeping on his couch had his gut clenching in an unfamiliar way. He glanced over at the mantle over the fireplace and noted that they had handwritten Mrs. H, Robert, Elliot, and Mandy a stocking in gold letters.

I basically binge read this story. Thank you and I hope you will continue to write. Just an FYI on the side, I really appreciate the length - or more accurately the brevity- of the story. Long enough to not leave any holes in the plot, but short enough for me to not get behind on the chores.😁

Awesome book. I loved the backgrounds of each characters, the ladies and there fight to survive childhood. The males with they're started from nothing to something, I especially like the facts that even with their riches they are still down to earth. Can't wait to read more by this author.

Divorcing My Ruthless Husband

Divorcing My Ruthless Husband

Christmas lights twinkled across the Hansley home with that warm glow, giving reflections off the snow-covered trees outside. Inside, freshly baked cookies filled the air, and the soft crackle of the fireplace gave the atmosphere a cozy, inviting feel. The tree inside the living room towered over with proud sparkling ornaments, strands of silver tinsel hanging from it, and a shining golden star at the top. And under it were gifts in all shapes and sizes tidily lined up, some already shaking in the excited hands of little ones taking sneaky peeks.

I'm still in the first few chapters and I'm so baffled by the husband's actuations. It was apparent that he doesn't love nor like Summer, thus the divorce. So why is he acting as if he doesn't want other men to see her in her revealing outfit? Or does it really look disgusting?
