The beasts were magical to say the least but what shocked her was that they were even grotesque than the hycwens she was used to seeing.

Daeira turned to her side and saw one man, naked on his upper body with a strange graffiti to his chest. His eyes trained with skill to the directions where those beasts disappeared. She flinched when his eyes directed to her and he looked...angry. "Come with me." he said in almost hissing tone while she did likewise.

Narrah grumbled defensively. "You have no right to negotiate with me!" he incredulously countered. "Why not? I'm entitled to my freedom" she retorted. He stared at her as if she lost her mind. I slowly turned to the man beside me who cowered in fear behind the chair. His screamed was muffled by my jaw that broke his jaw in half. I let go off his body as his jaw slacked and hung down. The man's eyes rolled into the back of his head so you could only see white. Blood gushed out of his mouth when his tongue fell flat and slapped against the blood. Well hes dead too. My men had taken care of the other 2 in the room for me. All the other rooms were clear. I stalked out of the house. Blood dripping from my teeth as I shifted back to my human form. Blood covered my body as I threw on a pair of shorts and stomped back to the truck. My job is done. Time to go home.

Tears overflowed my eyes. “Then tell me who’s hurting you, Spade.” The sudden tone change startled me. “I don’t know. A monster.” I covered my face. “I’m scared.
