Christmas Bear Book Novels & Stories

"A bear shifter?” “Surprised?” Marcus plucked the book from her unresisting hands and flipped over to a page he seemed to know well. It depicted the love interest’s first transformation into a bear, the first time he honestly bared himself wholly to the female lead. “Bears are so rare in these stories, and that's what drew me to it. It's almost impossible to find stories about anything other than wolves or foxes. And, well, the love interest in this one had a sort of, albeit morally dubious, happy ending with his True Mate. I guess I have a soft spot for it." Vivienne arched an eyebrow. "A morally dubious happy ending, you say?"

I turn around and see he's not there. I sit up and look around the room and see he's at my bookshelf reading a book. I get out of bed and walk over to him. This is when I start wobbling. I feel like a penguin. I see he's reading a book, "November 9th." He's in for a ride. "What you doing here, bear?" "Bear?" he looks up from his book raising an eyebrow. "Yeah. You're my big bear, Kingston." "Hm," he closes the book with his finger holding his place, "Just reading. I can see why you read so much."

The downtown area was similar to a lot of the towns Dak had visited recently, looking for the perfect place to start his new endeavor, but there was something slightly different about Christmas Falls, something special he couldn’t quite put his finger on. The Christmas decorations hanging from the lamp posts and strung around the trees were the same white lights, red bows, garland, and cartoony characters as everywhere else, seasonal flowers blooming from the flower beds while banners announced where he was and that he was welcome there, but an excitement seemed to hang in the air that he could only describe as a certain kind of Christmas magic he couldn’t ever remember encountering before.

When the box was finally opened, it revealed a massive stuffed bear. "Look! The bear is so cute! I'm sure you'll like it!"Miranda exclaimed loudly while clapping her hands. Brian smiled as he looked at the human-sized bear and his mother's expression. When Isaiah saw his wife and son's delighted faces, he smiled and thought it was worth it.

Maybe…] [I’m just asking, are you in or not?] Thor the Tiger cut him off. There was more silence until Tusker the Elephant eventually nodded. [Alright.] I watched, tense. Christmas was getting closer, and if Thor the Tiger started a riot and broke out, who knew how many people might be killed? Moreover, if the other animals followed and burst from their enclosures, the consequences would be unimaginable. People would die or get injured, and the animals would be put down.

Keri told me all about how sad she was about her family. "I'm excited about Christmas, though because of all of you. This is one of the first times in a long time that I'm looking forward to the holiday. It's usually so depressing at my house but I'm staying with Sally and Bear said that he wants us all to come over and do Christmas morning together." Keri explained and I nodded.

“Our organization makes and sells these to help with cancer research but we also like giving them to the kids. Each type of bear has a name and a picture book to go with it. The stories are about the bear characters overcoming hard things to help cheer the kids on.” “That’s wonderful! Are those the books I’ll be reading to the kids today?” “Yes. There are five of them but they aren’t very long. I hope your voice will be up for it.” “I’ll be fine,” Lily reassured him. “How many kids are there? What are their names? I want to know before I meet them so it feels like we’re already friends.”

Last year this time she was pregnant, now we have our little one and if I was right there was another one in there already so it was going to be all about my baby girl this year. I fed her some cereal while having a cup of coffee. Each time the memory of yesterday tried to enter my head I pushed it aside, there was no way. Today was Caitie bear's day and nothing and no one was going to interfere with that shit. We sat in front of the tree with the fire lit and the music on low until her mom woke up about an hour later. "You two are up early." "Seven o'clock on Xmas morning is not early for a kid babe."

I walk over to the rocker in the corner, not thinking about any consequences. What I see in the corner, is a blue teddy bear. The same teddy bear that I gave my nephew a few Christmases ago before he got too big for things like that. I remember the look on his face when he unwrapped it and quickly ran to his room, so he could snuggle with it. Later Christmas morning, I looked in on him and found him sleeping soundly, with the teddy bear safely in his arms. Cocking my head, I mutter under my breath, “What on earth?” And then lean closer before picking it up and examining it.

Molly This was going to be the best Christmas ever. Molly grinned as she pulled out her master key for the shop, slid it into the lock, and opened the door. The scents of pine and cinnamon filled her nose as the Christmas spirit washed over her. It was time to open up the shop for the day. Every day since Thanksgiving seemed to get better when she was in the store. Christmas Wishes was the best Christmas store in town and possibly in the entire United States. Molly would even guess it ranked in the top five best Christmas stores in the world. The only one that could possibly beat them might be a Christmas store in Alaska that was actually near the North Pole.
