In reality, it did but it was so miniscule that it could be regarded as inexistent. She was confused about this but knew that it wasn’t yet time for her to know more. ‘Just wait! Ellis I had sent the invite to a few packs. I did not know all of them, so I picked the first eight. We seemed to be sharing the number one spot with the Yellow Moon pack, and I wondered why but the community President had let us know there will be a slight change to the ranking process and he would like to announce it at the party, so I invited him too.

Contrary to phoenix god, they had 10 member in their party Just as the Phoenix gods, members of this new party also had sharp and dense rhythms. Suddenly, everyone's attention had shifted to this new bunch.Their emblem was that of black raven soaring over a graveyard. "So the 5th ranking clan also decided to participate…" "Interesting…" "Ghost Ravens…i recently heard those guys had just completed the A class mission with zero casualties…" "Rank 2 and Rank 5 both are joining… things just might turn real flashy this time!" "Ghost Raven…those tech freaks are the real deal!"

“What’s the Voice?” “Think of it like pulling rank, but magnified.” Maia tapped her chin with a finger, looking up as if searching for an explanation among the rustling tree leaves. “Ah, yes. As you know, pulling rank is a perk that follows a chain of command between first, second, and third level pack members.” Liora nodded, chewing her lip, “Like how you’re a first-rank Gamma, and you can pull rank on anyone who is below your rank and designation?”

Based on the results, they give us a rank. There are those with the platinum rank, who achieve a perfect score in all items. This rank generally is intended for royalty and the occasional exceptionally gifted military or alpha. Gold rankers are those who get a 4/5 rating. It is for Alpha men and Alpha women to get, and rarely any beta. My mom is the exception to that rule. What did I tell you? badass woman! Those of silver rank: 3/5. Intended for betas. They are the second in command of any pack.

"False claims! Seriously?" "Yeah! Interestingly enough, despite several false claims, the Green boards distributed most of the profits hunting to this no-name party and dismissed all others as unverified claims. I think they call themselves 'Eye of the Rha'. " "Wait! What the hell? Shouldn't this be the other way around? How can this no-name party win against those in the top ranking parties? Since top rankers parties were involved, their claims should weigh more, right?"

Jack asks me. “Unfortunately, it’s a council rule, not a pack rule. Ranked members can’t abandon their packs unless convicted as traitors or found to be unfit. Otherwise they can transfer packs, but their rank stays,” Nickolas explains for me. “You know Ryan best, how pissed will he be?” Jack asks me. “Pissed but flattered. Most likely you will get laid,” I tell Jack making him laugh. Nickolas smirks at me before almost smiling at me. Jack nods and we all follow Nickolas to challenge field.

They look like pups trying to disappear into the floorboards when they’re called to account. I’ve never seen the pack like this before. Usually, if we’re all together, we’re at the bonfire in the dark, and there’s hollering and dancing and joyful commotion. Rank means who eats first, who gets the choicest pieces of meat, who sits closest to the alpha, and who investigates the noises in the woods that are inevitably a mated pair who has snuck off to play in their human skins.

I took a deep breath, looking at Adam as he held the aged red book in his palm, “...ranking is crucial to understanding how Pack society and relationships are established. Because you may rank high doesn’t make you entitled. It means you have more responsibilities, duties, things like that.” I rested my cheek on my fist, trying my hardest to pay attention to my Uncle’s lecture.

“The council never listened to us. They only see us as someone lower than them. Since then, my mother still fights for my rights and was eager to give what’s supposed to be mine. But we never gained support from anyone. Why? Because of a stupid reason, the type of blood running in our veins. From time to time, they remember our existence and ask things to do for them. But afterward, they threw us back to this place like garbage.” His words resonated with me, echoing the familiar disdain for those of mixed blood. I was left momentarily speechless. I had heard disparaging rumors about Lady Aleria's actions to secure the throne, but now I realized that Lady Aleria had only been fighting for the
