A Rank Party Novels & Stories

Someone else was pulling the strings, someone higher up in the Pact. The Pact was structured like a ladder, seven ranks in total, each one granting more power and control. At Rank 6, you were given access to the women deemed “failures.” These women were no longer seen as people—they were property, auctioned off to the highest bidder by those with the authority to oversee the transactions. But Mark was only Rank 4. He didn’t have that kind of reach. If Mark was planning to sell Sky, it meant someone at Rank 6 or higher was backing him. That explained why he hadn’t turned me over to the Pact’s officials yet. He was stalling, buying time, trying to extract what he wanted from me before handing

asked Zack, nuzzling his face on my neck, sniffing me. "Nothing much, just excited for my second rank promotion at the pack training today" I broke the news earning their proud faces. "Woah! What?" "That's dope El!" "I'm so proud of you baby!" They all congratulated me for the upgrade. Our pack training base has three rank types of soldiers, each rank comes with its privileges. In our gang only Zack was able to pass upto third rank and I was very proud of my progress for a female because it wasn't an easy thing at all.

The rank 3 also woke up but looked confusedly in its direction, it seemed that it found some similarities with its old enemy but, at the same time, it was different. It hissed an order to the rank 2 snakes and they moved in the companion's direction. Before they could encircle it though, the companion raised his huge body in the air and sibilated at them. A rank 3 beast was a leader among rank 2 beasts, and even with its initial stage strength, it was still a threat to their pack. The group halted their advancement for a moment and, in that instant of hesitation, a small figure shot out from the body of the companion severing immediately two snakes heads.

Zeda asked. “The mage kingdom is in the lead with fourteen stars, followed by the vampires with thirteen stars,” Rylan revealed, a hint of frustration in his voice. “Then the werewolves with eight stars, and the witches with six. The demons are last with five, thanks to Lucian’s win.” “Is that also their rank?” she asked. “Not officially, but sometimes they’re treated according to their stars, if you understand what I mean,” Carrie replied. “We’re better than the mages,” Rylan bragged.

I tugged my strand behind my ear, “H—How many ranks are there?” She tilted her head to her left, “You are a smart girl, aren't you?” I knew I was and it was your notes of tone that basically told me, thank you. “…Yes, there are ranks. Three ranks in total for Red Catalogue; Silver, Golden and Platinum. And you are lucky to fall in the golden package category without work, your looks make you worth it already,” I wasn’t unaware that my looks could get me high jobs and finally here we were. The day had arrived. “I hope you won’t disappoint me at work,”

She was trying to hold back from the laugh. “……Ehem.” I deliberately coughed to make her come back to her senses. And as soon as she realizes that, she quickly looks at me with an evil grin on her face. “I will let you know about the practical battle ranks now~” She said. “Huh. You are up to something, aren’t you?” “Must be your imagination.” I doubt that. “For Rank C, 0-200 kills. Rank B, 201-300 kills. Rank A, 301-400 kills and Rank S, 401-1000 kills.” She said.

Just like before, I calmly responded to both attacks, swiftly parrying them and causing both of them to stumble. Now, five people sat on the floor with faces seething with anger. It seemed they were all part of the same party, with the bulky man and the one wielding the largest sword as their leader—the same person who had caused trouble and attempted to deceive me from the beginning. I glanced briefly at their statuses. It was an E-ranked party with a D-ranked leader, and all four subordinates were ranked E as well. It appeared to be a party consisting solely of sword users—a severely unbalanced party.

Aldrake's eyes lit up with calculation, while Livia's gaze remained thoughtful, her mind already racing with strategies. The "Fight For Your Rank" games were a time-honored tradition among their kind, held every five years under the full moon. Packs seeking to climb the ranks could participate to prove their strength and worthiness. Last year's competition saw over fifty packs participate, but none managed to break into the top 10. However, the Poisonous Pack rose from seventh to fourth place, while the Moonlight Pack jumped from sixth to fifth. The games would last for two to three days, with the last pack standing declared the winner. The objective was simple: eliminate opponents and captu

"How about the pack's annual party? Would you like to attend?" The pack's annual party? How would she say no to it? The luxurious, classy party is organised by the pack yearly only for the ones with high positions in the pack and other different packs. And if the low ranks were to come, they need to be invited. "I... I don't know what to say. Yes, I'd love to." Amelia said with excitement, to which Vera also smiled. "OK. I'm happy you accepted." They almost forgot they weren't alone in the room.
