Being sold To The Highest Bidder

Being sold To The Highest Bidder

The encroaching warriors, their armored scales glistening menacingly in the muted light, formed a semi-circle around us, cutting off any avenue of retreat. Each held a weapon imbued with the same ethereal glow as the chains binding the young Queen. "We mean no harm," Seraphina called out, her voice steady despite our dire circumstances. "We've come to restore balance to Meranthia." A taller warrior, distinguished by a crown of iridescent coral, stepped forward. "Intruders in the Kelp Forest always say that. Yet, they all seek to exploit the forest's magic."

Survival Has a Memory

Survival Has a Memory

The trap I made lured hares into their deaths, and she had the gall to claim that it was a gift from the island god. We had an Elf Queen among us, and a queen needed followers. And what did followers do? A follower should do nothing but follow their queen's orders. Luckily, everyone already had some food. They managed to drift to sleep, but their aching hunger roused them from their slumber the next day. Queenie couldn't take it anymore. She pushed the still sleeping me. "Wake up, Ms. Titania." I rubbed my eyes and yawned. Then, I grinned at her. "I'm your follower now. Just call me Seraphina." I pulled myself up right away and turned to her again. "Any orders, my queen?"

5 Princes and I

5 Princes and I

Then looking back at the two elves he added, "Don't you agree gentlemen?" "Yeah." They said. I was so confused by what just happened that I dare look at Ren for some explanation, but he seemed as clueless as I am. I looked at Nate instead and found him looking back at me. Once he saw me looking, his gaze drifted down just below my nose and he blushed while looking away. Is he angry? The Queen of the Elves suddenly approached me and held my hands. "I heard a lot about you from the other kingdoms. My name is Queen Siera Feradin."

The Fae Serenade.

The Fae Serenade.

I open my mouth and begin to sing. The sound that leaves my throat is a low, ethereal hum. A soft flowing Fae melody that carries no words, only a rhythmic warmth which carries a soothing resonance. Almost like a gentle breeze rustling through a forest, one that is steady and calm. Beside me, I watch as the tight, rigid lines of King Sven’s jaw slowly begin to relax. His breathing deepens, matching the slow tempo of my Serenade. He shifts slightly, now resting his head on my chest. And it makes my heart skip a beat, but I do not stop serenading him.

The Villainess Alpha Princess

The Villainess Alpha Princess

Luna Queen Eleanor had already bathed and was resting against the headboard, a book in her hands. Serena raised an eyebrow. Three years had passed; had her grandmother’s tastes become so refined? She squinted at the cover. *The Rogue Ranger’s Forbidden Mate.* Ah. Still addicted to trashy romance novels. Seeing Serena enter, the Queen quickly tossed the book aside. "Come here, my little wolf." Serena climbed onto the massive bed, curling up against the Queen just as she had when she was a pup. Queen Eleanor wrapped an arm around her, patting her back rhythmically and humming an old nursery rhyme of the Royal Pack.

The Wolf-Less Luna Prophecy

The Wolf-Less Luna Prophecy

They extended their hands and produced different portals. From Elphaba's portal, Queen Sirena walked in, followed by a huge squad of beautiful and ethereal-looking ladies. Behind them was a group of swordsmen. The guys looked fierce, and the ladies looked kind. Out of Eleanore's portal, the elves walked in. King Aelfred is the head of the group. He arrived with mostly male warriors and a big squad of female archers. The ladies looked terrifying, more scary and fierce than the warriors themselves.

The Shambala Chronicles

Sera one of the rebel soldiers bowed to her. "My lady, a woman is here, she wanted to see you." "Woman? What woman? How did she find us? Why did you let her in?" Her tirade of questions never stopped. "My lady, she is not an ordinary woman," He stifled a fleeting moment of panic as he took in Shrushaw's angry scowl. "She is the queen of the elves Zinfer." Before Shrushaw could react a woman, walked....no floated in. That is what it seemed when she moved.

The first chapter actually took me back in history about what crime used to take place. I am thankful to god that this world is better comparatively. but we still have lot to improve. Any way I must appreciate writer to bring that type of feeling in the hearts of reader. keep writing.

The Forgotten Heiress: Rise of The Lycan Queen

The Forgotten Heiress: Rise of The Lycan Queen

That night, her sleep was uneasy, filled with the echo of old flame, the weight of things not wanted but offered all the same. In her dreams, she stood inside a cave of living fire. The crown hovered in the air, spinning, shedding heat that did not burn. Elara stood just behind, her face veiled in ash. “Will you wear it?” Elara’s voice was neither hope nor threat, but something softer, sadder. Seren’s hands trembled. “I don’t want to.” Elara’s reply cut colder than any rebuke. “Then someone else will.” Seren woke weeping, heart pounding with dread.

How to Avoid Death on a Daily Basis

How to Avoid Death on a Daily Basis

“That is not possible. An elf cannot have children. It is heresy to even say such a thing.” “How do elfs reproduce, then?” “Reproduce what?” asked Evand. “Themselves. How do you make a baby elf.” Evand looked horrified. “Elfs do not lower themselves to such base practices. They are beings of energy and light.” “But the Queen was at it all the time. Seven litters.” “That cannot be,” insisted Evand. “You lie.” “Why would I lie about that?” “If... if she did so, she must have had a reason.” He sounded less sure of himself.
