A Sheep In Wolf's Clothing Meaning Novels & Stories

-Did you hurt him? -No. - he said in a sudden breath, suddenly feeling like a terrible monster. That was how he saw himself reflected in her beautiful, large hazel orbs. It was the worst feeling in the world. The wolf had lost his sheep's clothing. All his inventions to disguise being an honest man, a law-abiding man, had failed. Now he was exposed to his beloved just as he was. He never believed that his reality was a problem. He believed that the day would come when he wanted to change, to be someone different; someone who was more easily liked by other people.

"Who said I am?" "Your actions do. Why would you invite me over, let me walk you down here if you've got something against me?" I looked away, that was the truth. This man had a welcoming countenance, good spirit of reception. He seemed peaceful and accommodating and he didn't seem to have reservations. "That's because you don't seem harmful," He laughed calmly, "I don't mean to scare you but these days, wolf's do wear in a sheep's cloth especially when they have to commit an havoc."

“See, just there? A wolf.” “What does a wolf mean?” I asked, leaning forwards. “I shouldn’t have laughed, but it might explain it. On your way to becoming Luna, you will face danger. A sacrifice will have to be made as you near the end of your journey. The axe and gorilla tell me that there is someone with a vendetta against you, someone who wants revenge… and the wolf is most worrying of all.” “What does the wolf mean?” I repeated, staring into the mug. Her tone chilled me to my very core. “A wolf is a false friend. Somebody close to you cannot be trusted, Arienne.”

But his biggest secret was that he was a literal wolf in sheep's clothing. "More like a wolf who is pretending to be created by the wolves of wall street." Clay chimed in. I bit back a smile at his obvious distaste for the guy. It was warrantied, though, considering our Alpha blood. Being around someone like him made our blood pump a little faster as the need to show dominance took over. But it would do no good trying that around someone like Balor, even knew that Clay. But it didn't stop him from taking a jab at him from time to time.

she said as she tossed us our pajamas too. Xander and I had matching scowls when we realized that she wanted us to dress up as sheep. As much as I wanted to refuse, I could not because she looked at us hopefully. We would give our mate anything she wanted. If she wanted us to dress up as fucking sheep then I supposed we were dressing up as sheep. She came over and pulled my hood up on my head before repeating the same process with Xander. “Perfect! You’re my wolves in sheep’s clothing. You two look so damn adorable,” she cooed.

Wolf nodded heavily, "Boss, I know, I'll speed up for sure, I won't hold up your big plans. Member Ms. Lamb has already been tamed, she's full of killing intent now, and the second sacrifice is almost ready." "Very good, but..." That guy was also wearing a mask, but it wasn't an animal, it was a Thor mask. He turned around, eyes fixed on him: "Wolf, sometimes you can play smart, but don't overdo it, or you won't even know how you died in the end." When Wolf heard that, he got chills all over. The adult's words were intimidating without even trying, and his body started shaking on its own. "Are you scared?"

“You, coming here, are already suspicious enough.” His forehead knotted. “I’m not doing anything wrong and I will never do anything bad to you or even the kid. I’m harmless, Miss.” “I’m not buying it. You could be a wolf hiding in sheep's clothing.” “Whoa. I’m not going to eat the other animals. I’m pretty harmless.” “If you don’t have anything to say, I will enter the house now.”

Some looked hurt when a certain pack popped up on the screen and I deduced that, that pack must have been their original pack before they came to the North to seek refuge. “Next, Highbrow pack. This is a Southern pack. It was destroyed by the Dazelhead pack of the North. Now take note, this pack wasn't destroyed just in an ordinary power struggle. No, it was a planned destruction. And a very necessary one too. The Alpha of this pack, Alpha Adam was such an insolent, headstrong and arrogant wolf. He felt he was too big. That he wouldn't bow to anyone. His pack wasn't even the strongest in the South but he carried himself like he was.” I nearly started choking when the Highbrow pack symbol was

I grit down and ask the universe for patience, but I fake a laugh when the guards look confused. "It's a Canadian expression," I lie with ease, "To say you're not a wolf in sheep's clothing." "Oh, got it," Curtis nods and gives Brody a thumbs up, "You're good, your cousin is our boss so if you're a wolf, he'll pay for it."

A small hint of anger slipping through that earned me a harder growl from my mate. The doctor and Sadie awkwardly looked between us. He gave Gerwulf the same warning that Robin had tried to. That he needed to change what it was that I was being fed. I stared at him, boring a hole into his head mentally as he continued to sit in complete silence trying to gather his thoughts. "I've known since we met that your family aren't actually wolves," was the first thing he said," my great grandfather decided to trick them into thinking so as punishments. Your species is usually a threat to the wolf kingdom because of their abilities."
