The truth is— I don’t want to destroy the company. I want it cleaned. But systems like this don’t clean themselves. They calcify. Unless pressure forces reform. That’s what this is. Pressure. There’s a knock at my door. I freeze. No one visits me. I live deliberately forgettable. Third floor. No nameplate. I don’t move for a full thirty seconds. Another knock. Not aggressive. Measured. Professional. That’s worse. I approach the door slowly and check the peephole. Two men in suits.
