My condolences to the victims, but vampire attacks were just so stupidly unrealistic. Like creatures of the night actually existed. Right, sure. “Mr. Vale’s not in right now.” Celine said at the reception, looking me up and down.

He brought the best creations of people and vampires to the library, and I accepted them, sorted them, put them in places and remembered each book personally. That is why, when I fell ill, Sanader came to my humble chambers. The prince knew that I shared his passion for knowledge.

The problem is how to explain what he has experienced. "Ah, forget it..." Vincent then dismissed his curiosity and fed Kyron, who was hungry. "I'm not hungry," Vincent answered briefly. “You didn't eat much last night either. Are you alright?" Zach asked, increasingly surprised. Vincent nodded. "Yes, I'm not hungry yet." Vincent dodged it, then returned to feeding Kyron. “If you want to read about vampires or Dracula, I think you can come to our church library. We have some books about that. But as far as I know, that's just an urban legend," said Zach, explaining to Vincent

Meanwhile, I sat inside the library of the Winter Garden, turning the entire place upside down to get information on vampires. “Strange.” I mumbled as I looked through the book titles. There weren’t many books or detailed information on vampires. It was all the basics, like how to kill a vampire with a wooden stake and all. Nothing that I didn’t know. I sighed as I flipped through the last book and threw it. Why was there not much information about the biggest rivals of wolves? I massaged my temple with my two fingers when my tired gaze fell on the open book that I had thrown across the room out of frustration.

AVA'S POV “For a queen you are, you're getting a bit too comfortable with these humans,” Rowan whispered, his breath tickling my skin and his voice husky and laced with a hint of warning. My gaze narrowed, eyes flashing red with a hint of danger as I took in his words. “And what makes you think so, my love?” I purred, my voice dripping with sweetness as my fingers trailed his bare chest down below to his hard member. Of course we were lying naked in all our glory, skin flawless yet had a pale color to it, and this was absolutely normal being vampires.

I uttered and immediately left their table even though I heard their laughter. It's not fun. If I'm not mistaken, they're vamps…vampires! My head's gonna explode in no time. First the goddess itself and her magic, second, the wolfy stories—or rather me as a wolf. And now this? Vampires? In the middle of the afternoon? Aren't they supposed to be hiding, far from the sun? This information is hard to process. Fantasy stories turned out real? Who the hell would think that?! I'm slowly losing my sanity right now, I swear!

Maybe I should do my independent research without my vampire guru this time. I tossed the books on my bed when I reached home. Mom was going to be real late tonight for she had a night shift at the hospital. I would read about vampires for once and for all. Then I snatched one of the nearest books and began skimming it on my bed. One book was about the history, origins and other general information about vampires, and also another was all about the folkloric tales and legends of various cultures and places. Only a few pages mentioned about the children of vampires and humans. And of course, they were exactly what Cammie had told me. I slammed the book shut.

Tran admits, and my hand rubs across my forehead as my anxiety grows. "I can't force all the packs to go into hiding, Tran. I'm not their King. They leave my pack to deal with your government, but I am only the leader of my own pack. And while you might think of me as savage.....you really haven't met savage. I went to school with your kind. I am somewhat educated in your customs... some packs utterly detest humans. They will welcome war. And the Vampires...Good Luck," I honestly explain, and Tran goes silent.

“Hurry, spill it out.” The Vampire girl smiled knowingly, “Unless there is someone who has the power to manipulate the Phantom.” She said, her gaze afar. “That is one hilarious statement I will ever hear in my Watcher career.” Vera chuckled, “But I wouldn’t write off the possibility. There are some vague stories about a similar event. But these stories are old, and some of the scholars have argued that it was made up.” She really could not believe what she heard at this time.
