HIS EX-WIFE, HIS NIGHTMARE

HIS EX-WIFE, HIS NIGHTMARE

My fingers gripped my phone tight, almost smashing it, knuckles white. “Just don’t fight it.” The thought of the whole White family being dead hissed like steam behind my ears. I blinked hard, forcing myself to just move. Left foot. Right. Keep walking. But to nowhere exactly and no matter how many steps I took, this motherfucker kept drawing nearer to me, as if I was walking on a treadmill. I begged myself to forget. To lose my memory. To scream. To pass out. But something about the man behind me kept me restless.

Walk in Her Shoes

Walk in Her Shoes

Declan was now at a security office in a park, clutching a guard's phone and repeatedly dialing my number. The moment my phone buzzed with an incoming call, I answered, and his voice, no longer angry, came through faintly. "Did you switch our bodies? Hurry up and switch us back." I couldn't help but laugh, though I pretended to be confused. "Wait, has that been bothering you? But I thought you loved Camilla! Shouldn't you be thrilled about this?" I started singing, just to annoy him a little more. "Take you back to every memory, hold you close like it's meant to be, through the highs and all the lows, I'll never let you go…

Project Dakota: Rising of the dead

Project Dakota: Rising of the dead

We spent the next hour walking and talking, reminiscing about our lives in the city—the crowded coffee shops, the endless movie options, the simple miracle of hot water on demand—clinging to the desperate, probably naive hope that the infection, the madness, was contained solely to Paron Island, that the world we remembered was still spinning, untouched, just waiting for our return. After our walk, Elise departed, leaving me with a renewed sense of restlessness. The brief foray outside had awakened a need for more substantial movement. I decided to venture further than I had in days, setting my sights on the dining hall. It was a small goal, but it felt like planning an expedition to a dista

HIS RELUCTANT MATE

HIS RELUCTANT MATE

The mall was becoming emptier, and panic rose in my chest___ No, it belonged to the child. After standing for so long, I'd realized that this was my memory. A memory I'd forgotten with time. The memory of when Lyra and her husband left me at the mall. The same memory I should have gotten when I saw them again... then, I wouldn't have fallen into their trap. I wouldn't have gotten myself abandoned for the second time. A sigh escaped my lips. A woman soon walked over. She looked to be less than thirty and was extremely beautiful. She crouched before me, and her hands trembled as they covered my cold, small hands.

Hi Granny i was wondering if you already know how many chapters this story will have, approximately? And how often you update? Sorry for asking it but i see you have 3 Ongoing stories including this. And if i'ts over 200 chapters but update is only 1 or 2 a day, it will take forever 2be finished :)

The story wasn't anything like I thought it would be based on the synopsis, but I really enjoyed it. There were a lot of good twists that kept things interesting, and the side characters were well developed. Stephen and Jared's friendship was so cute!

My Husband's Double Life

My Husband's Double Life

Yet every one connected by the same quiet truth. Remember. Become. Together. The words no longer belonged to the field alone. They belonged to everyone willing to walk. Emma took her first step beside the First Walker. Then another. The path did not end. It unfolded. Behind them, no door closed. No chapter vanished. Every remembrance remained exactly where it belonged. Alive. The First Walker looked toward the horizon. “So...” He smiled. “Where shall we begin?” Emma looked ahead. The endless path no longer felt unknown.

She Remembers Everyone's Order, Except Mine

She Remembers Everyone's Order, Except Mine

Third-Person POV It hadn't even crossed Bridget's mind that she could have just bought something else. She was just too lazy to think of it. Sarah had to go back to work, and Bridget was politely asked to leave. It was still pouring outside, even harder than before, and it blurred Bridget's vision. She recalled the photos that she and Aiden had taken together in their graduation gowns that Aiden still used as his phone screen wallpaper. She suddenly remembered about the graduation gowns.

My Last Walk Home

My Last Walk Home

"She can die out there for all I care." The call ended. *** My body still lay at the intersection. The crowd was gone. Only the driver stayed beside me. My lips had turned purple. So had my fingers, curled stiff against the frozen ground. Dirt and ice were packed under my nails.

The Three Alphas’ Rejected Mate

The Three Alphas’ Rejected Mate

Nearly. But it didn't. She was gone now. That was the harsh truth about losing someone, your mind was forever anticipating someone who was no longer there. All your memories came back to you heated for a moment, until reality tore them away once again. I readjusted the bag on my shoulder. Walking was less painful than reminiscing. So I walked. As I went further into the woods, an unsettling feeling started settling in. Not dangerous but wrong. I stopped. Silence. Complete silence.
