“Sorry, it looked so good.” I couldn’t do anything but laugh. The scandalized look on Aaron’s wide-eyed, open-mouthed face was priceless. “That’s right! Women are all the same. You all just take, take, take, don’t you?” He cast Lauren and mom a scornful glower. I had to wipe the tears from my eyes. “Aaron, calm the fuck down, it was just a doughnut.” He jabbed his finger at me. “But it’s not! It’s not just the doughnut. I’m tired, underappreciated, and undervalued,” he blew up in frustration.

"Luke? Did you prepare everything for tomorrow?" Aaron asked in his phone while putting Rhea to sleep. She was still awake when he came back from the party. He immediately left the party after she was gone. It was like he was there only for her, though he convinced his heart saying he was there to only piss her off. He wanted to see any kind of reaction out of her. But her calm attitude pissed him off in return. It looks like she has learnt to keep her tempers in check which he lost in these two and a half years. He forgot how to keep his temper in check and kept losing it in every small issue.

In his position no one cares for him, he is just a ladder to everyone and all of this concern is just buttering with a bow of concern. Aaron was a seasoned player hence instead of getting annoyed he simply smiled politely and declined Brad’s offer, “Thank you for your concern Brad but I am waiting for an urgent call to come, after that I will eat something. Nevertheless, they were there, standing watch, their menacing beauty a cautionary reminder that looks can be deceiving. I am happy because their bond getting strong by each passing day. After that everyone exited to their respective houses. I went to my room to see, Aaron in some deep thought. I quickly took this chance and left to washroom, changed into night wear. I came sat beside him and placed my hand on his shoulder. "Aaron, Today whatever happened it's all because of me. I am sorry."I said. "It's not your fault. So please don't say sorry."He said. "Why didn't you said Ms Mittal insulted you?," He and his mood swings. Again angry mood how can someone change so easily?
