The Kingpin's Captive (Omegaverse)

The Kingpin's Captive (Omegaverse)

That the man who’d bruised me—physically and mentally—had somehow found a way to make me care. I glanced at the flowers near my feet, their vibrant reds and yellows seeming almost too cheerful, mocking me. A bitter laugh escaped my lips. "Maybe it’s Stockholm syndrome," I muttered. The thought tasted like ash in my mouth, but it wasn’t far-fetched. I’d heard the stories: captives falling for their captors, victims finding comfort in their abusers. It was twisted, but it happened. And wasn’t that what this was?

Possess Me: The Demon King's Mate

"I believe your kind calls that kidnapping." I narrowed my eyes at him. "If that was kidnapping, then based on your actions in the kitchen, I think we need to discuss the concept of Stockholm Syndrome."

Great read! I could not put this book down once I started! I wish it was a little bit longer and more POV from the ML, but that’s just me being greedy not wanting the book to end! overall it was excellent!

This book was so good! I found it in the 90% off section, down to my last few credits and the first chapters were like hmmm okay let's give it a shot. I ended up reading the entire thing in one sitting. Definitely a great read!

“Stockholm Syndrome? Um.. I am not familiar..” Abby shakes her head, confused. “I'm sorry but I don't think that I know what that it.” “Well, Miss Kensington, Stockholm Syndrome is a psychological condition in which the victim of a kidnapping or other related crime such as that identifies with and even empathize with their captor or abuser, going so far as to agree with or share their goals.” The detective tells her. “It is very rare but we do see it. Especially if you have a good looking guy as the kidnapper and a young, overly sheltered girl experiencing her first taste of freedom.”

HER PROFESSOR'S GOOD GIRL

HER PROFESSOR'S GOOD GIRL

He hesitated, his gaze flicking to the moonlight breaking through the treetops. “You went through something traumatic. I know that. And I get it, you spent time with Stephan, so maybe part of you feels connected to him. Like you owe him something. But that’s not real, Imani.” I frowned. “What do you mean?” He looked back at me, his voice dropping low, almost pitying. “Stockholm syndrome,” he said. “It’s what happens when someone starts sympathizing with their captor or their abuser. Stephan manipulated you, played with your emotions, made you think he cared so you’d trust him. But he never had good intentions.”

I'm Out of Your League Now

I'm Out of Your League Now

It seemed that Pierce's old crush was someone he had held dear to his heart considering how much he treasured her items. Then, why had he married Millie? Why hadn't he sought out his crush? The more Millie thought about it, the angrier she became. She wanted to confront Pierce immediately, but she stopped herself. She realized that there was something wrong with her emotions and suddenly thought of a terrifying psychological disorder—Stockholm Syndrome. It was a rare psychological disorder whereby a victimized person developed a defense mechanism out of the fear of death and admiration for the strong. The victim would resonate with the abuser and develop feelings for them, eventually falling

little bit misunderstanding is fiiine.. but I don't like such stupid plots with leads deliberately making remarks that'd let other lead to misunderstand and then each continue to live in their own delusional world making conclusions about each other. it's agonizing to read such stories...
Angela
The story still shows ongoing but there was no update today and the last update ended with a chapter not even a page long. Can we please get an update or at the very least a final chapter for Millie and Pierce’s happily ever after?

"don't you dare honey me. You guys literally don't give a shit about my life. I cried to you almost every day of my life since we moved here, but were you scared?, I came back home with blood and scars, but were you scared? I came back home with results that degrade each session, but were you scared? No. All you cared about was the kid is your bosses son so you can't badmouth him. I'll be left home alone for day's, you weren't scared that I might be a victim of burglary attack. I practically had no friends and you weren't scared that I might be having a psychological issue. I found it difficult to eat food sometimes but you weren't scared that I may have been coming up with a disease. I cut

DEMON ALPHA'S CAPTIVE MATE

DEMON ALPHA'S CAPTIVE MATE

He kept on staring at me with disbelief. "Are you fucking serious? Then what about Elliot? And everything happened so fast, are you sure about your decision?" Valerie said. I nodded. "You know this is Stockholm syndrome, and are you sure he is not the person who used to come to your apartment at nights? It's very likely and suspicious." She remarked. I frowned, she was right. This thought never crossed my mind. Did Theodore have anything to do with it or was it just my hallucination? "Now what about Elliot?" Valarie asked.

I hope Eva will reject the hell out of him. Like not accepting the bond until the very last chapter. I want him to grovel his way to Eva's forgiveness. And that is how much i HATE the one whose name i don't even want to write. I'm loving this novel. Author, you're amazing. Waiting for more updates.

Vampire Prisoner

Vampire Prisoner

After all these months spent together, there was no denying that they both felt something for one another. The question, Jonathan had decided, was how much of it hinged on Allena captivity. He'd long since decided that Allena would stay with him indefinitely, war or no war, and Allena affection had become something that he coveted. But . . . while he'd never engaged in the strategy of turning a captive into an ally, the idea . . . stockholm syndrome, he believed it was called. If that was the cause of Allena feelings . . . He needed to know that their relationship would still stand after Allena was given back at least some freedom.

Bonded To The Mafia Biker

Bonded To The Mafia Biker

“We have barely two days left with each other, cut your self some slack.” “You arrogant piss! This is a pure case of Stockholm syndrome, proximity. That’s the only reason why I tolerate you or even listen to your crappy jokes.” She argued and I nodded, I have heard it all— from her. She wasn’t a woman that would give in to anything because of a silly reason like proximity, not even to a simple feeling like likeness. “I hear you.”

How to Avoid Death on a Daily Basis

How to Avoid Death on a Daily Basis

“We’d been trapped together for so long, I thought I could trust her. She just wanted to see the surface again, just for a little while.” If Stockholm syndrome is where the hostage starts sympathising with their captors, he obviously had the reverse. He was meant to keep her locked up for whatever reason, but she’d got him to feel sorry for her and let her out on a jolly. Idiot. “Can you put her back? Hey, focus. Can you put her back.” “I don’t know. Yes. Maybe. If she hadn’t been released. But now...” He was all over the place. I had no idea how reliable his answers were.
