“I…wish it was that simple, but it’s not. In fact, I’m not sure that any of that stuff will be true for me if I accept her.” Kenneth finally stopped what he was doing. “If you accept? You bumped your head or something?” “No-” “Then what do you mean by If? What did she do? What- why would you reject your mate? You’ve only just met her today. While I had been rejected, left to wither. “Thank you.” I mutter. “But I think his rejection made me realise that sometimes people look past our physical qualities.” “A lot of men usually reject their mate because they feel she's not as attractive as they would have wanted. The fun part about it was that it's always open. As soon as I arrived the library, I scanned every single shelves, and gathered as much books as I can on 'mastering your wolf', 'understanding your wolf', 'bonding with your wolf', anything at all that would hold any bit of information whatsoever, to help me connect with Tris. Thinking about Tris, this has been the longest she has not shown up, and I'm quite worried. Could she be gone forever? The thought alone sends shivers down my spine. I hope I'm not too late in seeking solutions myself.
