Alan breathed out. Goddess this was embarrassing. “He umm. He accidentally almost marked me. He bit me. And I’m guessing that’s what caused your pain. There’s a small mark.” I told him. Shit. I was so freaking happy I’d gotten that out. I felt a million times better. But Alan apparently did not… obviously. “WHAT THE FUCK!?” He yelled. “Are you fucking kidding me right now?? He did what?!” “Alan…” I sighed. “He didn’t even mean to. It was an accident he just got caught up in the moment. And it’s not even a full mark. He was freaked out about it too.”

I close the suitcase and threw it to the door, we're three more were awaiting for him. "An accident? Please tell me how do you accidentally sleep with the waitress that I hired for our club at our anniversary.Are 5 year anniversary Mark." He looked at me as if he was doing hard math in his head. With no answer from him I just turned to look what more shit of his was there to throw out. Walking into the living room Mark followed me. "This was your fault." He said. This attack needs to be a surprise, catching him off guard. Entering the tent, I find Cole engrossed in studying the map, his attention so intense that he remains oblivious to my presence. As I draw nearer, my eyes catch a glimpse of a mark on his neck, initially resembling a hickey or a playful “promise bite” as we teasingly refer to them. However, upon closer inspection, I discern that it is no mere hickey, but a profound mate mark.

She frantically fumbled with napkins, patting them on his shirt to soak up the liquid while he sat there staring at her with dilating eyes. “Don't worry ab…” he began to say but was cut off. “What the hell did you do, Amelia!” Mark stomped up like a baby towards our table. He should mind his fucking mouth if he don't want me to break it. “I..I spilled...” She trembled. “I bumped her, it was an accident.” Logan descended her from him. “She is a bit of a klutz, I am sorry sir. She will happily pay for the shirt.” Mark told him.

Maybe someone else accidentally touched it? That could be the case.

He was supposed to be happy, or just as crazy to put his mark on me as I had done to him. “Shane?” I rasped. Obsidian eyes flashed yellow. A human woman marked without consent to see if loyalty could be replicated.” Evelyn’s stomach turned. “She died.” “She burned.” His tone was flat, but his eyes weren’t. “And every file says it was an accident. Raine’s cheeks were flushed as she looked at him with her teary eyes, stupefied. However, Mark did not act impulsively. A trail of perfume was lingering around his nose, reminding him of a faint citrusy scent. At that moment, Raine remembered that they were still on the pathway. Though it was secluded, that didn’t mean that they were entirely alone. And she just… Her graceful face burned as it turned even redder. She took a deep breath and said, “Mark, I accidentally left the stuff I bought in the villa. I’ll wait for you here, and we can hike together after.”

She watches intently. "This, oh I had an accident." "When? How?" "I think it's karma, nature decided to pay me a visit for killing her." "Didn't say that, when did it happen?"
