She really did not expect that a famous model could be rude like that. “Miss Hale, don’t cross the line! Whether Brent changed or not, that had absolutely nothing to do with me. I’m just playing my role as his wife in public. No more than that.” Natalie smiled coldly. She suddenly took out her cell phone and showed a photo. It was a photo from a while ago, which portrayed the man who had accidentally run over Beverley at the beach. The photo was taken from an angle that would make people misunderstand. It looked like Beverley was being hugged by the man, and she responded by touching his chest.

She accidentally spilled wine on Jackson's pants. Natasha reached for the napkins on the table. She bent down in-between his legs and started cleaning the wine off his pants, not realizing where she was touching. She didn't do it on purpose, it was an accident but he might not believe that. Jackson's face flared up as he grabbed her hands, making her stop. Natasha cried out in pain. His grip was too strong. She looked up at him and saw his face was covered with disgust. Only then did she realize what she had done.

If it weren't for the fact that Yakov's men were all former mercenaries, each more ruthless than the other, Natalie wouldn't tolerate Yakov's disgusting look for even a moment. She believed that only his men could ensure the success of Natasha's abduction; otherwise, she would have just left by now. As though unable to endure Yakov's lecherous gaze, Natalie gritted her teeth and compromised. "If you prefer to do it yourself, so be it. Just bring me Natasha Sullivan as soon as possible. Here's a picture of her." Natalie took a photo out of her purse. It was a solo photo of Natasha, taken unintentionally back when Natalie had falsely accused her of having an affair with Malcolm.

She asked, "Or are you planning to run for the hills?" I didn't utter a word as I headed forward, hoping that she's following behind. As much I wanted to get the hell out of here, it was better to busy my mind with what this is and stop myself from doing anything irrational. Natalie pulled her chair out and sat down, "Second mistake, you should've pulled my chair for me, but that's okay." She commented, arching an eyebrow. "For future preferences only, the first mistake was, bumping into your ex," She said, confusing me at her immediate observation, "Believe me, you don't wanna start a date like that!"

“Will see you later in the day then. I have to get back to the company.” Which I ignored, my ears peeking and listening to him shuffle through the hallway, then retreating. I only breathed in oxygen when his car roared from out, as he drives out once again. He must have forgotten something. Some important document, maybe. “That was close.” Natalie flipped the duvet off her body. “We were almost busted.” And I laughed. Natalie was busy scrolling through N*****x in my room so I left her there where it has been ages since I have been at.
