Red Rover

Red Rover

Odysseus says once we’ve calmed, “so you may eat. Then I will tell you about the Phlegethon... and the centaurs.” “Centaurs!” Summer squeals, visibly vibrating. “Like Chiron from Percy Jackson? Or those party-animal ones that trashed Luke’s boat?” Odysseus tilts his head. “Chiron was unique. The wisest and most just of all Kronos’s spawn. I do not know this Percy Jackson, but I assure you—no other centaur is like Chiron.” Summer deflates a little. “So... no party centaurs.” Odysseus gives a mirthless laugh. “If you wanted fun, you should not have come to Tartarus, friend she-wolf.”

She is also sometimes associated with the Roman goddess Diana, who, like Artemis, took on lunar attributes over time. "Hecate Chiaramonti dea ariolandi, Chronica de prima Luna and Munera a quod deae." "Hecate Chiaramonti the goddess of witchcraft, the Chronicle of the first Luna and Gifts from the goddesses," Max translated "Precisely. And All three of these mention the existence of magic time and time again. Hecate Chiaramonti is the Goddess of witchcraft. She is less known now but 2000 years ago they would worship her at the turn of every new moon, a sacrifice would take place once yearly on the new moon of the Aries constellation. This is said to be the only time in a year when Hecate can harness and release power directly from and to humans. So the sacrifice, usually of someone accused of witchcraft, wa

This is one of the most riveting books I have had the pleasure to read. Even though I haven’t slept in 2 days I couldn’t put it down and finished reading it over the past 6 hours. While it is a story of wars, rape, beatings and constant struggles reading it has allowed me to find peace. Thanks 💕

Leo is a hypocrite and Elle is a crybaby. She knows her alpha is a murderous asshole she won't let him do his job with other murderous assholes. She preferred to whine about him killing, while constantly putting him in situations he needs to kill, and not trusting he'd kill to save her. No Trust...

Riley and The Riptide

Riley and The Riptide

“Yes. Paragon, my brother Elysium, and I are all literate. My uncle Apollo taught us about a thousand years ago. We learned to read Greek, Olde English, and Sanskrit. Mostly poetic shit since Uncle Apollo is the God of Poetry.” “He says about a thousand years ago? Paragon, Elysium… that’s his brother, and him.” I talk while he is explaining himself. I pause when I realize what he just said. “Apollo? Something about being related? Slow down, Z. Greek, English, and Sanskrit? Bro, you’re related to Apollo? Sick.” “Like I said.” Paragon huffs at Lucas. “Alexiares and Anicetus are sons of Hercules. They are demigods. Zion and Elysium are their wolves. Zeus is their grandfather; ergo Apollo is the

The Reaper's Harem: My Monster Mates

The Reaper's Harem: My Monster Mates

"That's exactly what happened." Arlo slowly sits back in his chair. "Venus...Aphrodite..." Arlo whispers in absolute awe, his eyes going wide. "Her mortal lover was gored to death by a wild boar sent by a jealous Ares. Aphrodite's immense, devastating grief over his shredded body became a core pillar of her mythos!" He grabs his datapad, typing frantically. "It perfectly matches Hilbert's lecture! By recreating the exact trauma of the original myth, she forced a genetic resonance. Chloe literally tricked her DNA into believing she is the Goddess, forcing an Awakening!"

Unwanted daughter of cursed Alpha King

Unwanted daughter of cursed Alpha King

I felt a swell of pride when he said that. “You knew my father?” I asked. I had waited for a perfect moment to ask this question since that day when I overheard his conversation with Nethanaiah, and it finally came. He sighed and looked away. “Yes, we were best friends. I was his beta for centuries, and we had known each other since toddlerhood. You see, when Selene gave birth to Malleteagan, she tried to hide him in the Aeolian tribe, the one in Elis, where Endymion is from, to protect newborn Malleteagan from the wrath of many who were angered by her relationship with Endymion. Luna's Calling: Marked Through Trials

Luna's Calling: Marked Through Trials

"The living have no business with the dead." I drew myself up, allowing a soft, divine glow to radiate from my skin to cut through the gloom. "I am Herse, the Goddess of Dew, daughter of Selene and Zeus. I require passage to the obsidian throne. I do not come as a soul to be judged, but as a guest to be heard." "Titles weigh nothing here," Charon replied, extending a skeletal hand. "Only the fare." I reached into my robes and produced a heavy golden coin. He closed his fingers over the metal and gestured to the decaying boat. I stepped in, the wood groaning under my life-force, as we drifted into a world where the air grew heavy and the nights never ended.

The Lycan King's Divine Goddess

I began. That instantly captured their attention. Even Jiya looked at me curiously. "The four realms?" Abi asked. I nodded. "I’m not sure where I learned it, but maybe from books or someone told me," I said. They waited eagerly for me to continue. "These four realms honor the Moon Goddess. They are the Lycan Realm, the Vampire Realm, the Elf Realm, and the Siren Realm," I explained. The three of them listened intently. "The Moon Goddess resides in her Moonlight Sanctuary in the Celestial Realm," I added.

I answered. “Hmm. Theia like the Greek titan of light? That’s kind of funny,” she smiled. “I guess. I don’t really know much about mythology. Apparently, you do. So why is her name funny?” I asked as she stopped walking backward to fall into step on my right. “Well, she was the mother of Helios, Selene, and Eos. So the sun, the moon, and dawn. Werewolves are the children of the moon. And daddy’s wolf, Jericho, his name means the moon,” she shrugged.

This story was an awesome read and so glad I read it all the way to the end! Granted I started reading the 3rd book before I realized that it was the 3rd book and not the 1st book as I was somewhat confused. I enjoyed getting to know the characters and how they interacted with each other. Great job!
