A thin bridge crossed the chasm, its surface smooth with fog. “This trial will test your trust in one another,” the guardian said, its voice a gentle whisper in the wind. “You must rely on each other to cross the chasm safely.” Clara felt a flash of vulnerability, but she pushed it aside, centering on the bond she shared with her companions. “We can do this,” she said, her voice unfaltering. “We only need to believe in each other.” One after the other, they ventured onto the bridge, their movements cautious and precise. The chasm extended out underneath them, its profundity covered in obscurity.

The ropes strained and creaked, the wooden planks of the bridge swaying precariously. "Hurry!" cried Beatrice from the back. With that, we immediately broke into a run, the bridge swaying violently from side to side. The planks creaked and groaned as we dashed across, threatening to give way at any moment. The ropes holding it up strained and shuddered, as if ready to snap at any second. But on we ran, fear and adrenaline propelling our feet forward.

I guess this is a part of the bridge’s illusion that temps people to walk back. “Damn it, Ace!” I hissed at him. “I told you...It’s PRINCE!” He stomped his foot on the bridge again and made it move even more. “Hey, f*ck. Stop doing that!” I screamed. “Are you going to walk faster or not?” He threatened me. “I will! I will!” I said and started moving again. “Still too slow. Do you want me to shake the bridge again?” “I am walking as fast as I can you ass!” My feet started inching faster and faster. And with every progress I made, I felt Ace following closely behind me.

August's POV We just looked at the river. He is not ordinary in my eyes. It's not red, but there's a lot of fog on top of it and I don't know why it's like that. It's also wide, the river seems to be half a kilometer wide before the other side. "Are you serious Lucas that there is no bridge here?" Angel Grace asked in disbelief. "Roooooooooo!" Fyro is second. "Watch this," Lucas said and he put his hand on the ground suddenly some vines collided and he started to cross the river that was forming a bridge but before he could stop, the bridge suddenly broke and turned to ashes! What the fuck?!

She has seen the forest but not beyond any other place. The bridge they are crossing is covered with a myriad of flowers that sparkle as the moonlight shines on them. Flowers in a variety of colours and shades grow in clusters. There are various plants creeping like vines along with the glittering flowers. These plants comprise of leaves in differing shapes and sizes. Truly, the bridge is like a passage into a magical world beyond human imagination. Aria slows down in her attempt to stare at the arches that hold the bridge from underneath but since it is dark, she has to strain her eyes to see anything.

I must be heading straight for the river, I thought to myself. The bridge was short, only about 20 or 30 feet. The water was only a few feet below it but not moving fast. The rickety, man-made creation appeared old but sturdy. I could jump in and swim down the river or continue down the bridge and maybe get ahead of the beast. Not having enough time to weigh the options, I decided to cross the river. I darted along the bouncing boards held by rope as fast as I could. My naked feet were inflamed, swollen, and bleeding. I cringed with each step as they connected with the wood, skimming across the top and grabbing splinters on the way. As I reached the end, I peeked back to see the beast peerin

My fingers curl around the railings, feeling the cold metal hit my hand sending shiver down my spine. "Wow! "I muttered as I watch the beautiful view in front of me. It looks like an island. It shimmered softly, stretching across the dark river. Hardin whistled. “Beautiful… and terrifying.” “Let’s move before it fades,” I said. Alvina went first, then Hardin, then me. The bridge hummed under our steps, glowing brighter with each heartbeat. Halfway across, Hardin suddenly froze. “Wait… did you hear that?”

The sound of rushing water reached their ears, and soon they found themselves standing at the edge of a deep ravine, a narrow, rickety bridge the only way across. “This is it,” Aria said. “Once we cross, we’ll be in the heart of the old lands. The next relic is hidden in a temple not far from here.” Elara eyed the bridge warily. “This looks like it could collapse at any moment. We need to be quick.” One by one, they crossed the bridge, the wood creaking ominously under their weight. Isabella was the last to cross, her heart pounding with each step. As she reached the other side, the bridge groaned and gave way, crashing into the ravine below.
