She's an Assassin: Falling for the Enemy

She's an Assassin: Falling for the Enemy

Vincenzo asked as his hands immediately found her breasts. The ballroom itself remained the stage for the main play, but Matteo and Vincenzo’s absences were like shadows stretching across the edges of the light. The powerful gathered below, making toasts, trading promises, disguising threats as pleasantries, all unaware–or perhaps unwilling to acknowledge–that the true moves were being plotted away from the music, behind closed doors.

The Forsaken

The Forsaken

A composition from A Midsummer Night's Dream. Music and anger never went hand in hand in her book. But after the night she'd had with Sonja and the scout rebuking her in front of everyone, Cadence couldn't keep her rage from sneaking into her performance as Titania, the queen of Faeries. And it was that fire that had everyone spellbound for a little over twenty minutes as she spun around the room, leapt and twirled in the air, and landed on her feet in a series of perfect fouettés. Each of her movements was like poetry, and the scouts, ready to peg Shadowbrooke as a waste of time, were awestruck by the sheer beauty of her act.

Angel of the Lycan King

Angel of the Lycan King

With renewed determination, he left Orion behind, ready to face the next challenge that awaited him on his path to rescue Claire. *** The night was aglow with the radiant light of the full moon, casting an ethereal glow upon the clearing where Dante and the members of the twelve had assembled. Their dark intentions hung heavy in the air, threatening to consume the world in darkness. Claire and Zane stood in the centre, their fates entwined in this pivotal moment. Dante, the orchestrator of this malevolent plan, wore a sinister smile on his face. He had been waiting for this night, the convergence of celestial energies that would grant him unimaginable power. The remaining members of the twel

Immortal’ Sins Book 3 English Version

Immortal’ Sins Book 3 English Version

If she knows how to act, then I can stage better than her. "Your highness, what do you mean she killed Lady Alessia?" I heard Stefano ask. He's also going with the flow. I almost cried from glee because of Stefano's acting. "She pushed little Ales to a warp which is an exit to the highest tower outside. No one will survive that fall—" I opened the door and pretended to yawn and rubbed my eyes. "Stefano, I'm thirsty...is the demon attack over?" I pretended to ask and I deliberately ignored Natalia.

The Luna Queen's Rebirth

The Luna Queen's Rebirth

The old mustached Alpha had his Luna by the hands, spinning her in wild circles, both of them shrieking until they crashed into a dessert table, sending cakes and petit fours flying. A male climbed onto his chair and howled at the early stars. Sarah was laughing so hard she’d slid out of her seat and onto the grass, and Abigail was twirling in place with her arms out, and Edmund was on his back on the stage, spread-eagle, laughing up at the moon. “Woah.” Beside me, Bastian turned his hands over, then waved them in front of his face. “It’s a rainbow.” “What?” I turned to my brother. “What are you talking about?”

I commented on the last page of the story before it ended. After I submitted the comment, it put me back to chapter 1. The story was the Luna’s rebirth. How do I get back to where it was being serialized?

The Moon's Forgotten Heir

The Moon's Forgotten Heir

What happened next has been recounted in four territories as a miracle and condemned in two as a horrific atrocity. It was neither. It was simply a wash-house girl who had spent a month being defined by people who could not see her finally deciding to stop explaining herself. “There are twelve wolves in this hall who are not free,” I announced. My voice carried over the restless murmur of four hundred spectators. “Eleven are leashed to the thing around the King’s neck. The twelfth is tethered to something buried deep beneath this floor. I have seen all twelve cords since the night of the feast. I told this Court, and this Court entered my words into the record as the ravings of an interested

The Triplet Warriors and Their Pup Mate(Shadow Warrior Series)

The Triplet Warriors and Their Pup Mate(Shadow Warrior Series)

I’ll deal with her another time, she won’t be going anywhere. Ash looked at me, and I gave a small nod. “Let’s both,” he said, tearing off a match and striking it. Athena repeated the gesture as the female screamed and pleaded. Godfrey appeared next to me and clapped his hands. “I’m in time for the second act,” he said, as Diana fell next to him, out of nowhere. “No second act,” I said, as the flames roared, the fire quickly igniting Amaal’s dress. “Just the finale. The curtain call,” I said, as I threw my arm around Sebby.

Definitely my favorite books on here! I love them so much, I read them all again when Ben's book was finished. I do feel like his book was missing some things, though. I just don't feel like they actually figured out how to make things work at the end. It just kind of forced a happy ending.

All the stories were written very well. The author keeps you on your toes with all the twists and turns, but overall great love stories. I love how all the stories tie into each other, and you still get to know what happened when the sequel ends.

Mr Black

Mr Black

“I can act any other part but-“. “Then do it, you have one more chance to impress me”. He said curtly, He rested his both hands on each sides of the table as he stared at her. “What Scene should I re-enact?”. Grace was stuttering a bit, her eyes couldn’t meet the man standing in front of her, and if she had a knife, she could cut through the thickness in the room. “Scene 27, Act 7, Anita meets Franco, and she professes her love for him and she kisses him.” Grace noticed a slight smirk on his lips and she gulped.

Okay, Wow!!!! I'm so into this story already. I had a friend that was diagnosed with O.L.D and it wasn't easy, I remember how the girlfriend had to suffer because of it, so I understand. I'm ready to see how far Mr Black can go for her.

Surreptitiously Yours (SPY)

Surreptitiously Yours (SPY)

Blanche could still smell the blood of Astolfo lingering, dancing in her nose, seeping on her fingernails, staining the palm of her hands. Astolfo's eyes were lifeless, even though he was shot in the leg and blood was gushing out of the floor, no emotion can be seen in him. "I hope that you knew this is what the devil instructed us to do," Mr. Tassel said as he stepped on the floor spilled with the blood of Astolfo. Leaving a mark on his shoes. Blanche gawked at it and closed her eyes because they suddenly felt a sharp blow in it, like someone cut onion near her eyes, liquid formed in it and it dropped first on her left cheek.

Grim Reaper's Bride

Grim Reaper's Bride

“You'll have to beat me to them. I don't have much faith in your agility, considering the speed of your wit-” “I beat you at chess that one time!” “You were drunk. I took pity on you.” The orchestra in the attic had switched to Schubert's Death and the Maiden. A tipsy skeleton fell from the widow's walk into the rose vines that climbed the gutter. The house swallowed it up and rearranged. A scream came from the third floor, and through the shifting glass I saw Puck lassoing an unfortunate dryad with the Christmas lights. “The holly and the ivy, when they are both full grown, of all the lasses in the woods, the holly's got the bum. Kiss me, Thistle-toes!”
