Adeline From Haunting Adeline Novels & Stories

If it wasn’t Stella, I didn’t want to see anyone. “Come in,” I said reluctantly, and the door opened slowly. Someone I never thought I’d see again stepped in. Adeline Conrad. I leaned forward. “Adeline…” I said, trying to make sure I wasn’t mistaking her for the wrong person. For a second, I thought my mind was playing tricks on me, because the name tasted bitter on my tongue. The ghost of my past that I thought I’d forgotten—but no, here she was in the flesh. Hair falling in perfect waves, lips painted the same shade of red I remembered from college, her eyes filled with the kind of secrets that could destroy empires.

“Now, explain who you are and why you were in that condition when I found you.” Adeline’s frown disappeared, and she bit her bottom lip, trying to gather her thoughts. “I’m Adeline Smith,” she said quietly, slightly stuttering, “daughter of Baron Smith, leader of the Crimson Pack.” She constantly glanced up at Enzo, who was staring at her intently as she explained. “Yesterday, my pack was attacked by the Blue Moon Pack. They... they wiped out every single one of us. I’m the only survivor.” “Your pack was wiped out?” Enzo chuckled softly, “Well, that’s unfortunate.”

I had to get back in there, to find Xander, to figure out what was going on. I finally spotted Xander outside, talking to someone. "Xander!" I called, hurrying to get to him, but he didn’t hear me. As I got closer, my heart sank. The person he was talking to was a woman in a green dress. My breath caught in my throat when I recognized her. It was Adeline. She was never on the guest list. How on earth was she here? Xander was holding her hands, speaking passionately, his face full of emotion. I stood there, staring in shock, unable to move. So this is what had happened. All this must be Adeline’s fault.

Adeline refused to answer my calls and texts, I sure know how she feels about not wanting to see me, I just pray I'm not too late. Rushing into the Mansion No staff greeted me, I had texted them earlier to give the place privacy. Up the curved staircase, past framed black-and-white photographs of city skylines and forgotten family portraits, I moved with purpose toward the master suite. The door was ajar. Inside, Adeline sat on the edge of the bed, still in the charcoal blazer and silk blouse she’d worn to the office that morning. Her knees were drawn together, phone cradled in both hands like something fragile and poisonous. The screen glowed against her face, illuminating the tracks of dri

The door was half open, and I stopped in front of it, lifted my hand, hesitated, then knocked once, barely a tap. The door swung wider almost right away, and Adeline stood there. She looked… unreal in a tight black skirt that hugged her hips and thighs, ending just above her knees, a white silk blouse tucked in perfectly, the fabric so thin I could see the faint outline of her bra underneath, and high black heels that made her legs look endless. Her dark hair was pulled back in a neat low bun, not one strand loose, and she had on red lipstick, dark enough to look almost black in the low light. She didn’t smile. She just looked at me with those steady eyes that always made me feel small and e

She said it, though it didn’t seem like she meant it in the least. She walked away, leaving me confused. I stared at her as she got inside the limousine parked in front of the gates. Adeline Hart, the daughter of the Alpha of the tenth shadow pack. What relation did she have with my husband? ********************************

As if the moon goddess was ignoring them. As if the moon goddess turned her back. “Lady Adeline!” A crisp sound of something tearing woke her senses, and yet as soon as she looked up, droplets of fresh blood splattered on her face, numbing her mind. Her irises narrowed as she stared blankly at the clouded eyes of the head of who had once baked the cookies she would sneak in her room at night. Her hands shook and her heart trembled, and despite the haywire in his mind, all she could ever utter out was the name of someone who was no more:

Ximena/Angela’s POV Aunt Sadie remained silent until Penelope had finished with Raven and put her to sleep. “I don’t know why, but I feel the need to help Hudson get out of there. Something tells me that if he doesn’t get out soon, something terrible might happen. Remember how Mila ended up,” Aunt Sadie explained after Penelope left. “Do you think Adeline’s ghost is involved?” I asked awkwardly. “I don’t believe in ghosts or resurrection. Adeline is gone, but her conspirators are still alive,” she said firmly, as if she knew exactly who was behind everything.

"We both know that my parents have passed away." "Yes, I'm not talking about them. I'm talking about Cailynn..." Adeline sipped her wine gracefully—a gesture that made Axel clearly see that this woman was used to having wine in her hand, unlike a woman he knew who couldn't handle the effects of alcohol. "I didn't invite her." "That's even more surprising to me," the smile on Adeline's lips already indicated that she really suspected something. But who cared about her suspicion? "I thought you weren't that close,"

Rowan departed, and I pulled Christine to the couch. Being the ever gracious host, Adaline already had tea on the table. Her usual neat bun I saw her wear when entertaining guests was pulled and stretched. Hair tendrils fell around her face, and if vampires truly aged, she looked like she had aged ten years. "I'm sorry, I'm not much help," she poured a cup of tea. Flinging in two cubes of sugar and a splash of cream, she held it out to Christine. "I'm not very good with confrontation, much like Vanessa. We are strong in other ways, however," she softly smiled.
