Adeline From Haunting Adeline Novels & Stories

I chuckled, closing the distance between us and watching her smile wear off. “You have no idea what’s coming for you, Adeline.” I spat. “Today, you will be exposed. I don’t make promises or threats, my words are like an impending doom, they always come true.” “Watch your tongue!” “You watch yours!” “Enough,” Adeline gritted. “I will end this drama here. I have a witness that will clarify everything.” I frowned at her words, a witness? What was she on about now? Who was this mysterious witness?

Why would Adeline suddenly appear at Seraph Villa? Before Diana could think further, Adeline entered the foyer with the Hampton family's housekeeper, both carrying numerous gifts. Upon seeing the Hutton mother and daughter seated in the reception room, Adeline's face lit up. "Madam Hutton, Miss Hutton, I came uninvited. I hope I'm not disturbing you." After so many years in high society, Adeline knew how to speak graciously. She smiled at Florence and continued, "But I do have some wonderful news, and I wanted to hear your thoughts, as well as Miss Hutton's."

“Okay, if you don't want to talk about what you experienced, that's fine. You still need time to calm yourself down. Get some rest, beautiful woman. Now you are safe in our house.” “Mr. Roney, Mrs. Miranda, thank you for helping me. I am very indebted to you two.” “You're welcome. It is our duty as fellow human beings to help each other,” replied Mr. Roney with a smile. Mrs. Miranda also smiled. Adaline smiled because she met people as good as them. “What is your name, Daughter, and where do you live?” Mrs. Miranda asked. “I'm Adaline Herbert, I live in urban Canada.”

she hinted. My eyes widened when I saw a thick fog coming out of Adeline's hand and beginning to envelop me completely. “What is this? What are you doing?” I shouted at her. But it was too late: the fog had entered my nostrils and, in a matter of seconds, all I remember is passing out. *** Bradley “I'm sorry, my master, I had no choice, the girl was hysterical,” I heard Adeline say with her face in her hands. In fact, I couldn't even scream. After all, the whole mansion heard the screams of my mate, who was clearly in a state of panic.

The words died in my throat when I realized it wasn't one of my scouts. Adeline stood by the heavy oak doors, her hand still resting on the latch. She wasn't wearing her usual silk dresses. Instead, she was draped in a sheer, transparent robe that left absolutely nothing to the imagination. The firelight from the hearth licked at the curves of her body, casting long, honeyed shadows over skin that had been oiled to a shimmer. "What the hell are you doing in my office, Adeline?" I asked, my voice dropping into a dangerous, low register. “And in that?”

Everyone immediately gave their focus to Adeline. "No? What do you mean Adeline?” “Don't tell Mommy yet,” said Adeline. "So? What will we do? Uncle Adrian has turned into a very bad person. I'm worried that something unexpected will happen to our family," said Delilah. “Uncle Adrian is also our family. He is part of the Houston family. Did you guys forget that?” The others fell silent at Adeline's unexpected words.

but something was missing, where was Adeline? As I asked myself this question, the door squeaked open and Eva walked in, a bright smile on her face. "Oh Aiden!" She gushed, rushing to my side. "Finally, you're a perfect man! You look so cute again!" I frowned, pushing her away from me. "Where's Adeline? And how did you get here?" "She is with her lover, Aiden. She left." Her lover? Didn't she promise to stay until the surgery was over? I wanted her to be the first person I'd see this morning but unfortunately...she couldn't wait for me. Who the hell did she go to?

Nicole had successfully captured every movement, gesture and conversation. Vincent and Myra in the courtyard exactly as I had presumed. Then, I saw the masked lady and how Myra presented the scarf to her with joy. I knew from the build she was Adeline, and her covered body did nothing to deceive me. I watched as she tried to retrain and control her responses, imperceptible to everyone but me.

But it wasn’t hers, mine, nor any of those dead Rogues around. “Who else was here?” Those questions lingered in my mind. That question lingered in my mind and what kept me going. I didn’t know who that scent belonged to – if it was one of the Rogues who attacked her, another victim… or one that tried to help her. Exhaling sharply, my grip on the glass became tighter as that scene that haunted me for years now clung to Adeline… Sipping a drink, I muttered under my breath. “It’s impossible… isn’t it?”

"We just need to get out of the open. We’ll find a place to hide together. A hollow log, a cave... anything." "Hide?" A sharp voice cut through the dark from just behind us. Even though I couldn’t see her face clearly, I knew it was Mirabel. I would recognize that sneering tone anywhere. "That’s your big plan, Adeline?" She chuckled and stepped closer. "You three really think hiding like scared rabbits is going to save you? If you had a single wolf between the three of you, maybe you’d have a real chance at surviving the night. But no, you’ll probably just trip over each other in the first five minutes and serve yourselves up on a silver platter."
