FROM REJECTED TO BECOMING THE ALPHA KING'S OBSESSION

FROM REJECTED TO BECOMING THE ALPHA KING'S OBSESSION

“I thought something happened to you, so I came to check up on you,” Why would she think something happened to me? I wanted to ask but I decided not to, instead trying to remember where I'd seen her before. “Sorry have we met before?” “No, I don't think so. Pardon my manners, I'm Adeline,” She gave an infectious smile that I couldn't help but return. “I'm one of Lucian's cousins,” I was still confused. “Oh, it's a pleasure,” Now I understood why she looked familiar. She had a resemblance to Lucian. “I had thought Dane was his only cousin,”

One of the Grishan witches knows who Ayla is, and that's why they are after her. But is it to kill her or use her powers. Was it Arnold's mother or Acacia that left her in the woods closest to the Red River? Please author make double updates, the suspense and unanswered questions are killing me.

Beyond the Divorce

Beyond the Divorce

I would be pleased if they were all uncomfortable! When we stepped into the hall, my gaze fell on a rocking chair that seemed out of place in the grand hall. Although it was also white, it didn’t look like it belonged in the magnificent hall. Most importantly, an elegantly dressed old woman was seated in the rocking chair. I immediately understood that she must be the ruthless Adeline Myer, David Pierce’s mistress and Celine's stepmother. It was clear that the old lady still had a lot of spirit. She wore an off-white silk dress, a modern blouse, and wide-legged trousers. Her chestnut-colored hair was meticulously styled and pinned up at the back of her head in a spiral bun.

This story should be a one star but I know it won’t show if I don’t give it a 5 star rate that how good novel works. Chapter are too short and this story is dragging on forever. I don’t know why I am still reading it. There’s no hot passionate scenes or chapters i don’t know how you got promoted.

I loved this book. I liked all the characters and their interactions. Loved Atlas & Chloe together. Parts of the book are very suspenseful and made it hard to put down. Liked that she was a mom and a business owner. She was strong and intelligent. Hated that the book was over. Highly recommend.

The billionaire's coalition.

The billionaire's coalition.

She knocked lightly on the door frame, hesitating for a moment before stepping inside. "Sorin," she began softly, her voice breaking the silence that enveloped the room. Sorin glanced up, a faint smile gracing his features at the sight of Adeline. "Adeline," he greeted warmly, setting aside the documents. "Come in." Adeline entered the study, her gaze sweeping over the meticulously organized shelves and the faint scent of leather-bound books that filled the air. She took a seat opposite Sorin, her thoughts racing as she considered the words she wanted to share.

HIS EX-WIFE, HIS NIGHTMARE

HIS EX-WIFE, HIS NIGHTMARE

She fucking looked like me! Same face. Same hair. Same build. It was like staring down at a dead reflection. Lifeless, dripping blood, and terrifyingly familiar. I gulped, taking a few steps back, shaking my head in disbelief. “I killed her. Finally!” Adeline cackled, wiping her face with her blood stained hand. “I, Adeline Black, killed Mikaela White!”

The Girl We Desire

The Girl We Desire

Helena stopped in front of my bed and I sat straighter on my bed and raised my eyebrows at her, indicating her to speak. “She is innocent.” That was the first thing that came out of her mouth and I could see, Adeline visibly relaxing by my peripheral view. She was standing near me and looking at our intruders. She didn’t utter a single word. She looked confused by the entire events that took place this night. Helena looked bothered; whatever she had read from my mail was definitely not good. She was the strongest among my grim reapers and she was smartest too. She was the only one who had the guts to call me by my name.

A Luna and four Alpha

A Luna and four Alpha

“Ma'am, you're finally awake. Would you like to have breakfast now?” What? Breakfast? I quickly turned around and was quite surprised when I found myself standing in front of a strange middle-aged lady with blonde hair. “Uhm, excuse me, who are you?” I asked curiously. Oh, forgive me ma'am, my name is Adeline, and I'm the newly hired cook to tend to your palate.” “Oh, have you perhaps seen my husband this morning?” “Forgive me, ma'am, but I haven't seen him since yesterday, when he instructed me to serve you the moment you're awake.”

It says the book is about a reverse harem with four alphas. however, the majority of the book is about one alpha hea. Also a reverse harem means multiple that she doesn't have to choose from. Other than that, it's intriguing.

I agree with the other view who mentioned there is no reverse harem or multiple mates for Luna . I thoroughly enjoyed reading the story but just wanted to point out the blurb is not exactly reflecting the story! Nevertheless still loved it

Rejected By Alpha, Chased By Lycan King

Rejected By Alpha, Chased By Lycan King

All my life, I had heard terrible stories about witches and their mischievous magic and wicked ways of haunting human beings, and now I was walking right into their den. I followed Adeline to the door taking us into the cottage and my footsteps immediately halted. If I had thought that witches were the ugliest of the kind with long sharp nails and bloody teeth, I was wrong. So very wrong. And the beautiful old lady, wrapped in a white robe with long white hair covering her back was the living proof of it. Adeline whispered to me that she was Asteria and I kept staring at her in awe.

The Demon Alpha's Runaway Mate

The Demon Alpha's Runaway Mate

I stopped by the door, wanting to ask only one of the million questions that were roaming around my head. “What was her name?” I asked in a whisper, not sure if he heard me or not. “Adeline, lady Adeline Pierce of the Nightingale coven” he said, making me nod and close his door.

Frequently Asked Questions

The main character in 'Haunting Adeline' is Adeline, a young woman who inherits a mysterious old house that turns out to be haunted. The story follows her as she uncovers the dark secrets of the house and her own family history. What I love about Adeline is how relatable she feels—she’s not some fearless ghost hunter, but an ordinary person thrown into an extraordinary situation. Her reactions, from skepticism to sheer terror, make her journey gripping.

The book really dives into her emotional state, blending horror with deep character development. Adeline’s resilience grows as she confronts the supernatural, and her interactions with the spirits—especially one particularly persistent ghost—add layers to her personality. The way the author peels back her past bit by bit keeps you hooked. It’s one of those stories where the protagonist’s evolution feels just as important as the scares.
