Adeline From Haunting Adeline Novels & Stories

"Auntie... is it alright if I ask how Adeline passed away?" "I’ll tell you, but you must promise me not to mention to Jr. that you know the reason, okay?" I nodded solemnly, giving her my word. “Adeline was stabbed by a robber early one morning while she was walking home from work. Jr wasn't able to pick her up that day because he was confined to the hospital with a severe case of dengue fever. She was pronounced dead on arrival. The most heartbreaking part was that Jr never even got to see her one last time; by the time he was discharged from the hospital, Adeline had already been buried.”

Then she rose to her feet and offered the woman her chair. Adeline Blair closed the door behind her and silently walked to the chair beside my bed. “I'm... sorry for your loss, Mrs. Blair,” I managed, and she summoned a faint smile in response. Ashley muttered her condolences, and Adeline gave a similar smile. I swallowed a knot in my throat. “How… did you know I was here?” “I have my sources,” she said softly. “And not even someone like Gunner Stiles can keep me from finding out the things I want to know.”

After Afro took a look at all the items that were on sale, he exclaimed, "Look at all the anti-bird items here! I'm telling you, the final boss must be some sort of seabird!" "Seems like whoever defeats that thing will get the reward for this scenario!" But at that point, none of them had enough coins to buy anything that would have been useful. More ironically, the highly-priced items were all the gifts that the Swans had discarded, the ones that I had tried to give them upon returning. The discomfort in my throat still hadn't faded. I took out my coins, planning to buy a digestive solution, but Anna's voice came from beside me. "Mom, Dad, I want to buy the Sea Maiden's Dress. This banquet

I got up and peeked a little to see who the lady was and eavesdrop a little. “Hello to you too little brother” She says. The lady is his sister, Angeline Hawthorne. Angeline is a famous fashion designer. She is the 2nd child of the Hawthorne’s family while Adrian’s is the oldest. As far I know, Nigel had 3 children. “Where’s Emily?” Angeline asks. “She quit.” Adrian answered. “What?!” Angeline yelled. “Oh my god. She confessed didn’t she?” Angeline continues. Adrian was silent for a couple of minutes.

Only a little money from her books remained. “So, I heard you were looking for me?” An elegant woman walked in with a little boy by her side. Adeline stood up as she accessed the lady. She looks more beautiful in person, slightly plump with curves, shiny black hair, earthy brown eyes and light chocolate skin. Seems like she got her eye and skin color from her. “Hello, mother.” Grace looked at the young lady in front of her in shock. A sense of recognition flash in her earthy orbs as she looked at the familiar face.

I wish there was a way I could take away her pain but I could not, there is no way. I sighed and walked out of the room with the tray in my hands, walking out of the hallway and towards the kitchen where I saw Hannah cooking. She had a smile on her face immediately she saw me. “Miss.” She starts but I shook my head, placing the plate in the zinc so I could wash it. “Please don’t call me Miss, My name is Adeline.” I say and she smiled. “You can leave it, Adeline. I will wash it so you don’t have to.” She tells me but of course I would rather wash it

Cynthia stopped her oldest kids quickly. She was having a terrible feeling of absolute despair, and it radiated all over the property, all around them. Cynthia looked around and thought she spotted a young woman in the distance, her clothes covered in dirt. The problem with the woman was not that she was there, but the kind of clothes she was wearing. She appeared to be in her early twenties, but she wore a long dress, and a thin veil covered her face. Cynthia turned to ask her husband but when she turned back, the woman was gone.

My heart dropped to the pit of my stomach for the first few seconds, but I comported myself and spoke up. “ Who are you? Can you give this phone to the owner?” I asked. “ And who are you too? I'm Adeline, Cassius's soon-to-be wife.” I almost collapsed to the floor upon hearing that, fuck! I indeed collapsed. The coldness of the tiled floor inside my room seeped deep into my thigh skin. Adeline, Cassius's soon-to-be wife, how is that fucking possible? “ Hello…are you there?” I could hear the lady's voice from distant as tear blurred my vision.

Does it make any sense? Ann wasn’t sure what would happen to them as time went by. She mentioned one of her granddaughters, Ann Claire, who had come back to the Manor after dying somewhere else, but she soon started to sort of lose her sense of self. Like, she progressively forgot who she was, and started changing. They saw her lose her human shape, until she turned into a blurry shadow and ended up fading away, like a mist blown by the wind.

The three of them eat some more cake and pack the rest of it back for the others to enjoy. Since yesterday, Adeline had been feeling quite anxious and nervous. When she had been cursed to desiccate, she had known that it would be some time before she woke up again. But she had never imagined that it would be almost a hundred years. The world she has woken up in is so drastically different from what she had left behind. She was happy to have her elder sister by her side. They had talked very late into the night and she had filled her in on a lot of things that had happened and changed since 1924.
