“Oopsies!” She chuckled and shook her head, before looking up at the clock. It was near Anna’s bedtime. Quickly, after dinner, she helped the young one prepare for nighttime. She did her routine to her for two years; showering off all the dust from the playground, brushing her teeth, combing her hair, changing her into her favorite pair of Doc Mcstuffins pajamas, and long sleeves. “Which bedtime story do you wanna hear tonight, my love?” Lying in their bed, Anna was safely tucked in her blanket and ready to doze off. All that’s left is to make her sleepy with her stories every night. This was the last part of the night routine with Anna, one that she’ll never get tired of doing.

"Too scary daddy!! Tim declared and hid himself under the quilt. Leon followed suit. They covered themselves and didn't even let their head out. Allen stood up and went away. The story was indeed scary and that was all he could think of and quickly made up to tell them. Aren't they the ones who wanted a bedtime story before they could sleep. "Noe can sleep with us tonight." Tanner went forward and picked up Noah. Noah hugged his neck and asked childishly, "Does Daddy know how to tell stories?" "Yes." Tanner kissed his forehead. "Do you want to hear a story?" Noah nodded. Tanner then carried him to the bed and told him a bedtime fairy tale.

I said, and they both shook their heads. "No, Mommy, we want to finish the story,” Ingrid spoke for them as Atlas and Nathan nodded. I kneeled to level with them. “But it is already late, if you watch TV now, then you will not have time for bedtime stories,” I said. “It is fine, Mommy, we can just brush our teeth, finish the story, and go to bed, you don't need to read for us,” Nathan said this time. “I could do that, but you know it is not good to go to bed immediately after watching TV, or do you want to lose your sight?” I sweetly smiled, and he shook his head. As she does, she asks. “Do you want me to tell you a bedtime story?” “Yes, please…" Herzl uttered, his eyes already beginning to droop as he lay comfortably on his bed. Lisa thinks for a moment before replying. “I'll tell you the story of the three little pigs.” She enounced. Herzl's eyes light up, and he gives a sleepy grin.

After Amelia left the nursery, Andrew turned off the lights in the room, leaving only a dim night light. He placed Asher in the small bed and picked up a bedtime storybook. "What story does Asher want to hear? 'The Adventures in the Candy House'?" Andrew asked. Asher shook his little head, sitting up from the small bed. His tiny hands wandered through the bookshelf on the bedside table, finally pulling out a book, "Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves," handing it to Andrew. "Tell this one." Andrew opened the children's storybook and started reading.

With the job situation resolved, my mood lifted. I closed my laptop and opened the storybook on the bedside table. "Sweetheart, what story would you like to hear tonight? 'The Ugly Duckling,' or 'Daughter of the Sea'?"

Lucas joined them on the bed, "Looks like our teddy bear is in for some excitement." They continued weaving imaginative tales, laughter filling the room, until Kai finally drifted off to sleep with dreams of daring teddy bear escapades. Eve softly kissed his forehead and whispered, "Goodnight, my little adventurer." Lucas smiled, "Sweet dreams, buddy." As they tiptoed out of the room, Lucas looked at Eve, "Our bedtime stories are getting more elaborate." Eve chuckled, "Blame it on your son. He's got a vivid imagination." And with that, they left the room, leaving behind the peaceful slumber of their little mommy's boy, surrounded by dreams sparked by their whimsical bedtime tales.
