I told them how the werewolves would come out at night, and how they would howl at the moon. I described them as being large, powerful creatures with sharp teeth and glowing eyes. The children were enthralled by the story, and they huddled close together, eyes wide. I didn’t want to completely tell the kids that their was father is a werewolf, I was gradually preparing their minds for it..

After I coaxed Leah to sleep, Jayden told me to go to his bedroom to tell him a story. However, I didn't know what happened to Jayden today. I told him a lot of stories, but he still refused to sleep. In the end, I was sleepy. Looking at the clock on the wall, it was almost 11 o'clock. I helplessly looked at Jayden and asked, "Why don't you sleep tonight, Jay?" My saliva had dried up. I really didn't know why the little guy's big round eyes were still so energetic. To my surprise, Jayden got into my arms and hugged my waist, saying, "Mommy, I might be too excited today. You're here in my bedroom today to tell me stories at night. That's great!"

Today's night air was pleasant, while a little chilly, but I was content to sit outside. Rafe was now sitting next to me, looking up at the sky. - So, what are our plans for tomorrow? Even now the shadows in my room play havoc with my subconscious, so I turn the light on and sleep with one eye open. Also, when my computer starts to go on the fritz just as I write a particularly spooky part of a story, I chuck it up to chance and swallow a little harder before checking to make sure that I have only one shadow. It’s amazing that I still get so scared as an adult. You sure would have thought that for someone who makes a living scaring people, I would know better, right?

SSHS 130 It was already deep into the night, quarter to eleven in the evening and most of the students settled into their jackets and found a place they were comfortable to sleep in. The others decided to stay a little bit more into the late night to tell scary stories, play some board games or card games even and there are those who are getting into the deep conversation as the night goes deeper with them. The other Club Presidents also settled in for the night, they were determined that the whiteout would last until tomorrow and they did advise the others to sleep and conserve their energy.
