Chapter 14 Adolfa’s POV This time, my body quivered as the spirit vanished. I stood alone in the pitch-black silence, the bitter wind scraping across my face. My fingers tightened around the edges of my cloak as I attempted to comprehend what had just occurred. Why is my destiny always entwined with spirits? The first spirit startled me, yet here I stood again, speaking to another—one more formidable and vast than the last. Was it real? Had I truly encountered another spirit from the otherworld once again?

All he saw were some spirits of some looking men coming from far, they were meandering in between the trees, staggering here and there.
