Mother

Mother

“Don’t be confused my child, where I’m from it is believed that we are governed by unseen beings and if I had expressed my joy earlier in the plane, something bad may have happened. But my God won’t allow it, that is why I closed my mouth throughout and prayed to him,” Arlene looked at the old lady in a confused manner and forced a smile up her lips pretending to understand what she was saying. Although she was half-caste she had never been to Africa, but she knew she was from Niagua, a country in Africa. The old lady slid her phone into her hand bag and prepared to get off the plane like everyone else with a smile plastered on her face, which Arlene found weird.

Madie, Baby

Madie, Baby

She wanted to see him, his expression, but she also wanted to bask in the feeling that his lips were giving her. What those other kids at the orphanage were lies. They said fairy tales weren't real, and they were just stories for sleeping. But they're wrong. Fairy tales are real. Sparks flew like fireworks, butterflies fluttered, and elephants marched. She felt like she was floating in the air, and her Daddy was holding her. Her eardrums were ringing, like a band was playing loud music inside her brain. What they said were lies and her Daddy is proof. He's the prince charming of her story. The tall, handsome prince that saved her from the dragon, or the thief that rescued her from the tower.

In love with a soccer star

In love with a soccer star

“What do you want to do in our ten minutes, my princess?” “Tell me a story.” “Okay. I will tell you the story of the sad prince who met the happy fairy.” That was the story Amir told her every night, it spoke of how he fell in love with Samanta and how he had to fight the king to have him let them marry and how the prince had to fight a terrifying dragon that threatened with stealing his fairy. In time, the story got richer fiction, to the point there were giants and purple bunnies, characters that Aháva added to the storyline.

The Game of Heavens and Earth

The Game of Heavens and Earth

“My friends, our journey is long. Let’s save this for another day, would everyone agree?” After a pondering pause, all heads nodded in agreement. “Now, I have a story to tell.” He scooped a blue powder and tossed it into the bonfire. “Once upon a time….” The flame burst again, but this time, fiery images of animals, humans, and landscapes appeared. From the Greek heroes like Perseus and Jason, the adventures of Thor and Loki, and to the African spider god, Anansi, which was our first time hearing it, every story he told was brought to life by the flame.

A Second Life Inside My Novels

A Second Life Inside My Novels

The three words she had seen back then in kindergarten was only one word repeated three times: Lies, lies, lies. The moving picture showed a different form of the fairy. She had raven black hair, skin as white as snow, as though she haven't been exposed to the sun at all, and a mole at the top right part of her lips. And she didn't just curse the beast to teach him humility and love. No, the true reason ran far deeper, more sinister than anyone could ever imagine. The five words after the moving picture were a plea: Please tell them the truth. Lost in writing about the truth the fairy tale begged for her to reveal, Cathedra's heart almost leapt up her throat when Diane snuck up behind her an

ALPHA IN MY DREAM

ALPHA IN MY DREAM

Didn't they study about it? "Fairy is something like a beautiful lady that doesn't belong to this world. They have power and a beautiful face. They are not like us and they mostly live in the forest because they are the guardian of the forest. They took people and bring them to their kingdom once they took a liking to that person. Their beautiful appearance attracts many people, especially men," I explained to him and I feels like I am just explaining to a five-year-old child. "Ah, is that so?" Clauros said with a laugh. "There is nothing like that in this world. I don't know where you picked up that word. Even your explanation is very convincing."

THE ALPHA'S DESTINY (THE PROPHECY)

THE ALPHA'S DESTINY (THE PROPHECY)

???'s POV Hazel grew up watching fairytales on Disney. She puckered her lips and kissed the Frog Prince with Tiana, just like Belle, she fell in love with the Beast. She and Gabrielle danced with Pocahontas in the wind, and she can't forget when she fought a war with Mulan. Fairytales had always been her thing. So her imagination conjured up what she thought the Fae World would look like; gold, silver, and shimmer everywhere. She even pictured pink talking clouds that tasted like cotton candy. But to her dismay, she wasn't prepared for the truth.

One of the best books. I love this writer. I have read 2 of her books so far and I can’t wait for this one and the rejected omega is the lycan Kings mate to be completed. Fiona’s writing skills are on point and she always adds humor to her books. I hope you get some motivation to complete this one.

HELLO AGAIN! I know it has been ages but the book has finally been edited and I have a few new chapters that I’ll be posting in the coming New Year. Some chapters have been split in 2 or 3 due to GoodNovel’s new policy. But if you’ve read the book to the chapter called Alfonso, then you’re good.

Night Wolves

Night Wolves

"Then how do you know what she looks like?" Bailey smiled as she looked down and then back into my eyes, wrapping her arms around her knees. "That's right. I forgot that you haven't heard the stories." A crease formed between my eyes. "What stories?" She shrugged. "The stories of our people." She sighed as she looked out over the stones but saw a time long ago, a time far away. "Long ago, two children were walking in the forest. Night fell, and they became lost. A black wolf came, and the children shivered, sure that they were about to become a meal for the black wolf. But then a huge white wolf came and scared off the black wolf. When he was gone and the children were safe, the white wolf t

I say, "Something that no-one else knows...." She twists to look up at me, forehead puckering. ".... Tell me something, that when I think about it, will just be mine; a little piece of you that no-one else has." Understanding dawns. Her expression goes distant for a moment, her gaze outward again, and empty; then turning back, she looks up into my face. "When I was a little girl, we didn't have a lot of books, but all the ones we had, I read. And my favourites were always the old myths and fairy tales; stories about Greek and Roman and Egyptian gods, Norse warriors and ice giants in the north, Hans Christian Anderson, Brothers Grimm, all that sort of thing....

Shattered Bonds

Shattered Bonds

King Aolis. “I would love to visit the fairy tale lands,” Marlene says. “The fae lands, love,” Reyes gently corrects her. “Are they not the same?” she asks, looking from Reyes to Aolis. “Not exactly. A fairy tale land is a fake world that humans created for books. The fae land has many fae creatures but it is ruled by the elves,” Aolis explains. “But, there are leprechauns, giants, and unicorns, right?” she asks excitedly.
