The room was bathed in warm, golden light, and the aroma of a delicious meal wafted through the air, teasing my senses. The table was set with fine silverware and exquisite china, indicating that this was no ordinary meal. "You can have your seat," he said with a smile and sat opposite me. "I initially wanted to talk to you, but I'd do that after dinner. Enjoy your meal," he said and began to eat. I watched Beta Simon as he began to eat, his focus on the food before him. Hunger gnawed at my stomach, and the enticing aroma of the meal beckoned me. But my curiosity and the unresolved questions in my mind overshadowed my appetite.

Suddenly, I forgot how to chew, and the crab whose juice first filled my mouth now tasted like sand.

I abandoned the watermelons, diving for the main meal, it was like now I had decided to eat, I would die if I didn't. My body vibrated with hunger even as I dug into the delicious meal, it was a good thing Caterina had brought more than enough.
