Age Of Adaline A Book Novels & Stories

Rowan departed, and I pulled Christine to the couch. Being the ever gracious host, Adaline already had tea on the table. Her usual neat bun I saw her wear when entertaining guests was pulled and stretched. Hair tendrils fell around her face, and if vampires truly aged, she looked like she had aged ten years. "I'm sorry, I'm not much help," she poured a cup of tea. Flinging in two cubes of sugar and a splash of cream, she held it out to Christine. "I'm not very good with confrontation, much like Vanessa. We are strong in other ways, however," she softly smiled.

She was screwed, that's for sure. After Odette left, Adeline looked around the bedroom. It was large and had a lot of things to entertain herself with. There was an Amazon Kindle sitting next to a huge flat-screen TV hidden behind some drapes. Adeline turned on the TV and saw it had all the streaming services. She looked through the Kindle, and it was loaded with thousands of books. There were several bookshelves loaded with books too, but they looked untouched, like no one had ever read them. What a beautiful prison, perfect for a princess in a tower! Adeline was amazed. Was that what Damien imagined she was? No, she was his bought-and-paid-for whore in a tower and she'd do well to remember

My mother was dead ten years ago when Atlas had killed her. I tried to reason with myself and calmed myself down by saying that this book was indeed filled with old information. Still, I went through the list and even found Adelina’s name there. My fingertips traced each word lazily and even though there were better things to do than to go through a list of witches’ names, I still wanted to finish reading the list. About fifteen minutes passed, and I was nearly at the end of the list. Three more names and I was done. Two more. “One—” I coughed. Once I got a handle on myself, I blinked. Then I ran my finger one more time. “Holy shite!”

I heard a childish voice say from behind Adalyn. "Nicole, how are you?" "Everything's fine with me uncle, how about you?" She asked and walked over to me, I was surprised to see her without her eyes stuffed in her iPad. "As usual." "Mother" she nodded to her and Adalyn pulled her over into a hug. "I've missed you." Nicole was ten-years-old and yet she acted like a twenty-five-year-old, had the mind of a thirty-two-year-old and looked like an eight-year-old.

I asked the young girl, and was met with a pair of intelligent sapphire eyes. Adelina looked like a normal six-year-old, wavy platinum hair that reached just below her shoulders, and a round face with delicately pointed ears. It was her eyes that seemed much older, much too smart for a little girl. Her eyes seemed to drift for a moment, no longer focused on me. She blinked a second later and gave me a wide smile. “Could we speak in private?” Adelina asked me, glancing towards an arched door on the other side of the room. “I’d rather not speak around Tamara and Aralia, if I can help it.”

I called but she didn't reply. Frowning, I stood up. Did something happen to her? Oh my God, she slumped? Aiden why are you being dramatic? I just have to check and… Ah, goodness gracious! Holy Moly! I quickly shut the door when Adeline screamed out. She didn't slump or anything, just a naked little girl checking out herself in the mirror! Jesus, I should have knocked. Can I ever get this image off my head? Two round boobs and nipples poking out.

she scowls at me as I stretch feeling my body ache due to the weird posture it was in for heavens knows how long. Isn't it already obvious? I can't believe I have been dreaming about the thirtieth book when the old pamphlet in front of me that is wrinkled is the only thing I remember picking from the shelf when I entered inside the damn thing. I must have been tired after the whole crying. "What time is it?" I ask. "It's nine in the morning." Dhalia replies. "What the fuck!" I exclaim horribly. I have been inside here than I imagined.

The only difference was that she wasn't obsessed with it. I put on my headphones and listened to some jazz music--while I read a book from Wattpad, named the artist's wife. Reading was one of my many hobbies and it took me to another different world. I winced at how Rina's back story was and then I remembered mine was even stronger. I made a mental note to write a book about my life. I heard if your life doesn't have a happy ending then it's not over yet. I guessed the journey of my life just began.

In Alden’s study, he shows me a large book containing the history of his people. He tells me it was written 2500 years ago and as I sit next to his table and flip through it, he devours me with his tongue underneath my dress. At breakfast, while I eat pancakes and drink orange juice, he grazes my nipples with his teeth and fingers my entrance roughly. At lunch, he carries me all the way to the garden and takes me in the pool with the water splashing around us. At dinner, he pushes all the food off the table and chokes me as he penetrates me until the legs of the table threaten to give in to our weights.

A maidservant entered the room with a tray of food, and she said politely, "Madam Adeline, here's your dinner. Please enjoy it while it's still warm." At the smell of food, Adeline's stomach rumbled with hunger. She thanked the maidservant, and she dug in once she was alone. It was already eight in the evening after she had finished her meal. After watching the maidservant clearing the empty plates, Adeline took one of the books she had picked up on the trip to the bookstore with Ethan a few days ago. She began to read it. The book was about designing. Everyone always just assumed that Adeline liked to act. But only she knew that she enjoyed designing the most. For Adeline, designing was fun
