I asked the young girl, and was met with a pair of intelligent sapphire eyes. Adelina looked like a normal six-year-old, wavy platinum hair that reached just below her shoulders, and a round face with delicately pointed ears. It was her eyes that seemed much older, much too smart for a little girl. Her eyes seemed to drift for a moment, no longer focused on me. She blinked a second later and gave me a wide smile. “Could we speak in private?” Adelina asked me, glancing towards an arched door on the other side of the room. “I’d rather not speak around Tamara and Aralia, if I can help it.”

I called but she didn't reply. Frowning, I stood up. Did something happen to her? Oh my God, she slumped? Aiden why are you being dramatic? I just have to check and… Ah, goodness gracious! Holy Moly!
