She tried to run towards me but another held her down. She screamed as one of them lunged for me, then stopped mid-air, slammed backward by something invisible. Gunfire. Two sharp shots. Then silence. Within seconds, three of Xavier’s men appeared, black-clad and efficient. The rogues were on the ground before they could shift. “Luna,” one of them said, bowing slightly, “are you hurt?” I blinked, breathing hard. “You… who sent you?” The man didn’t hesitate. “Alpha’s orders. We were told to keep watch until you were safely inside. We apologize for not making ourselves known sooner, however, we did not expect things to escalate this way.”

His patience was thin tonight. "Come in," he said gruffly. The door creaked open, revealing Spade—a fresh-faced fighter, still learning the rules of the game. Bruises lined his jaw, a split lip still raw from earlier. "Hey, Kane. Can I talk to you for a moment?" Kane's gaze flickered back to the clock. Almost 2 AM. Mona was waiting. "Yeah," he muttered. "Come in." Spade stepped inside, shifting uneasily. His hands were shoved deep into his pockets, shoulders tense.

“You never truly severed it. He rejected you, but the Moon didn’t accept it.” Dax’s voice cut like steel. “Aria. Now.” I shoved Kieran into the tunnel and dropped after him, sliding on wet stone. The seam above us slammed shut with a final thud—sealing out Rowan’s voice, sealing out the tracker’s roar. For three heartbeats, there was only darkness and my own breathing. Then, from deeper in the tunnel, another voice spoke—female, amused, dangerously calm. “Welcome,” it said. “We’ve been waiting for the ashbound to fall into our hands.”

With that statement, Aries hisses his agreement. Images begin to project on the wall behind her as she continues to speak. Which is weird considering she hasn't moved an inch. "Ironclad dragons. Phoenixes. Leviathans. Direwolves. Storm Gryphons. Moon Serpents. Flame Hounds. Cerberus'. Unicorns. Frost Lynxes. Kitsune. Ash Ravens. Nemean Lions." She says with confidence as the images change behind her head still without any movement. "And of course the many extinct or the now unwilling bonds that you will learn more about in your history classes." she says as the images flick again and my breath stalls.

Ava was almost feeling happy about the fact that Vador wasn't ashamed to hold her so close in public but was shocked when she heard him say"Besides we're bats now. Look there" "Ahh," Ava said seeing her reflection. She was a bat and so was Vador. "Better now,look again" "Better," Ava sighed. She was back to her normal self. On entering the gallery, Ava saw a sketched drawing of a dog,a vampire dog maybe,It looked delivish with horns. Taking a closer look at it,the dog blinked at her. "Seen anything you like?" Vador asked with his hands behind him. "More of something that I don't like,"Ava murmured"That dog just blinked at me,she pointed to the drawing.

Everything was picture perfect. Asher's expression was perfectly neutral as he approached them. "Mother, Alpha Cassius, Thelia," he greeted, nodding to each in turn. He placed a respectful kiss on his mother's cheek, a gesture that was more habit than affection. Luna Camilla smiled, a hint of satisfaction in her eyes, as he took his place besides them.

Hunter said and continued. "You know we had one more member in our gang. Her name was Sarah. She was like our family. The girl was in love with Rasmus. When she turns 18 she found out Rasmus was her mate but then everything stopped during the rogue attack, and she was killed. She was like a sister to me. He looks like he’s trying to breathe through his mouth and not his nose, leaving me to assume he finds the scent off-putting, too. Tasha nods. “It’s not exactly the same, but it’s similar enough that whatever they’re from are definitely the same species if not the same…things.” She says “things” in a tone that projects both disgust and bewilderment. “Alpha!” I hear Channing call as he approaches with Blake and Serafina. It takes just a moment before I realize he’s carrying a human over his shoulder in a fireman’s carry. “Who do you have there, Channing?” I ask, feeling my mouth go dry and the sensation of my stomach dropping, fearing the answer.

Xander stood by his side, both were looking worriedly at him. “I don’t know what you’re talking about,” he called back at Mordecai. “You’re just messing with my head.” Dorin’s eyes widened. The people moving towards Dorin fell to the ground, the air knocked out of them. “Now, we continue.” Dorin faced Mordecai once more. He had always loved fighting strong opponents. It means he could let it all out and fight with his real strength, but with his id now in his Phasma core, he was able to calm himself as he continued the duel.

I hissed. "Over my dead body. You're not leaving at all," Drake snapped, standing tall and blocking the path. Creak! Creak! Drake and I turned our attention to the shrine door as it opened, revealing the ghostly figure of Maya, accompanied by something floating in the air. Looking closer, it was Emily; the spirit beside her was Maya. "You must be Alpha Silas' mate," Maya stated. I nodded, my eyes searching for Silas, but he was nowhere to be seen.
