But soon. A voice called from the deadfall. “We don’t want a fight.” Everyone stiffened. The speaker stepped into view: a woman in mottled grey leathers, long braids tucked under a hood. A second figure emerged behind her, younger, leaner, his bow held low but ready. Both bore the scent of wolves but not Silas’s pack. Mara’s arrow tracked the woman’s heart. “Then drop the weapons and tell us why you’re following us.”

Hold that thought. You didn't see anything, did you? "Damn, this chick can fight!" Rey whistles, his eyes raking Ava's body intently. I dart an icy, chilling glare at Rey who chuckles and glances over at Pres, also holding his laughter back while I pin them both with my deadly, dangerously threatening gaze. "Your mate, your mate! My bad," Rey remarks, holding his hands up in defeat. I roll my eyes and turn my attention back to the ongoing fight.

The nineteenth lash struck, and Asmada staggered, barely holding herself upright. Then, the final blow came. A terrifying scream tore from her lips, one so raw and filled with anguish that even the hardest of hearts might have hesitated. But what sent another wave of unease through Aurora wasn’t the scream. With Miguel's return to the room, the two could come across two guys standing at his door, one with brown hair in a well-aligned haircut, a shaved beard and standing with his hands in his pockets while the other was talking super excitedly, gesturing a lot. This one had dark blond hair combed back. As Miguel approached the duo, he put his hand on Catherine's shoulder, making her look at him a little scared at first. His hand was warm, and he had to take a step to his side, which made her smell his wonderful scent. It was Miguel's perfume, with a woody odor that matched perfectly with his lumberjack style. The trance in her mind was broken when she heard him introduce her.

I don’t know how Luna Ahsoka has been able to remain so calm. Luna Ahsoka has been in some sort of trance for hours now.
