The twi were always at each others throats and it was a sight to see the ever calm Daniel, and the no nonsense Aisha clash every single time. They fought over every single damn thing. “Never, you know I love the show and besides, she's the best at her job.” I say with a smirk and in this moment, Daniel was shooting daggers at me with his eyes. Jacob moved efficiently, setting his laptop on the table and connecting it to the projector. “This woman,” I said, my voice cutting through the murmurs, “is Aisha Riggs.”

"So sorry about that." Val was still in a confusion haze as Aisha slowly reached for her phone. Valentina glanced back at Mr. Vescari. His eyes were fixed softly on her, as if trying to figure out what part of the conversation he got wrong. Aisha spoke softly into the phone, stepping away for a moment. “Can you come up, please?”

She looked directly at Zira. “But before we start this…” Her voice hardened slightly. “I want something understood.” Zira sighed softly. “Here we go.” Aisha stepped closer. “If you betray us…” Zira rolled her eyes. “Yes, yes.” “You’ll kill me.” Aisha didn’t smile. “No.” Her voice was completely serious. “I will.” Zira studied her face carefully. Then nodded once. “Fair enough.” But before Aisha could say anything else… I spoke. “That won’t happen.”

Alpha Asher's voice was rough and commanding, "My men will be going around the room to help with your techniques." "Lola." His deep voice pulled me from my explicit thoughts. Liana replied with naturalness and a smile on her face, and that just highlighted how unreasonable Aisha was being. "That's why I hate you!" Aisha's eyes were burning with anger, they flashed wildly as she said. "Don't worry, I have a plan ready to destroy you. Do you want to know what it is?" Compared to her, Liana was always graceful and elegant. "Not me, but tell me!" Liana replied waiting for her next move. Aisha suddenly hugged Liana, however, in the middle of the move, she stopped, hugged her belly and started talking loudly.

All four of these women are impossibly gorgeous, and I’m feeling a little self-conscious as I stand across from them with tangly, windblown hair, dressed in borrowed clothes that don’t fit quite right. “Sorry for barging in like this, we’re just so excited you’re here!” the little curly-haired one chirps enthusiastically. She must be able to read the confusion on my face because she quickly goes on to elaborate. “You met our mates this morning. I’m Astrid, and this is Quinn, Brooke, and Fallon,” she says, pointing to each of the other girls as she names them off. “Nice to meet you all,” I breathe, smoothing my hair with a hand and stepping closer. “Are you part of Reid’s pack, or…”
