ELIAS'S POV The applause faded. The auditorium settled into tense silence. Everyone waiting to see what happened next. Then someone in the middle section stood up. A student I didn't know. Alpha. Third year maybe. "This is wrong," he said loudly. "Omegas don't belong here. They're weak. Unstable. Can't handle the pressure. The Academy should be Alpha only." Murmurs of agreement from some students. Others immediately shouting disagreement. "They proved they can handle it!" someone yelled back. "Did you not hear anything they just said?"

One of the reasons my gammas are constantly inside the borders. Thirty six witches (male and female), divided in five covens, Arkana being the strongest of them with twelve members, and Black Jade being the newest with only three members. I see it as just kids rebelling against their witchy parents. Thinking they know best, i guess. There are some rivalries amongst them, but nothing serious. I believe most of them are basically fortune tellers or charlatans. Still, i always keep tabs. Better safe than sorry.

My father is the Alpha of the Blue moon pack and my mother is a Dokar witch, though she had since been excommunicated from her coven, the cause, her mating with a wolf.

They’ll shred you alive over there.” “I know, Hilda. But there’s nothing I can do. My fate is sealed.” I said with defeat, lowering my head. Umbra Academy was a school for the elite of shifters and witches where they were taught how to rule and steer ahead in this power-hungry world. Although it seemed like a promising place, bullying and murder were often found to take place on its campus.

After another full minute Ace seemed tired and just passed out on the bed. My heart hurt for him, the poor creature. I tucked him back into bed and headed downstairs since going back to bed was not a great idea as it seemed. I took a seat on the nearest chair and let the wheels in my brain start rolling. How could I be of help? Was there perhaps someone who could help us? I ran to the study and began searching for anything.
