In that moment Ally felt like an object. A blinding light appeared and as the light died she could make out a figure. It was a massive and winged. A pair of human feet walked over the glass towards them and seemed to leave the owner unaffected. Ally instinctively put the little boy behind her and began walking away from what was now two men. A demon and a black winged angel. “It was me, Gabriel. Leader of the army of heaven.” His voice boomed. She had never seen two better looking men in the same room.

I saw how my stepmom step back too hugging my dad. “I told you,” dad said with fear written all over his eyes. They look like they are fearing some demon. “She is just crazy,” my stepmom insisted trying to look as calm as possible. “Are you scared of him?” I asked trying not to look at their eyes that much or they’ll hit me again. They didn’t give me an answer and just left me there. I look at Angelo, his eyes looked different. It’s like a burning fire, ready to kill someone. They are so dark like a demon living in hell.

Rose managed to choke out through her cries. “What the hell was that scream about? Are you okay?” Harriet and Alastor rushed into the room. As I was about to open my mouth to attempt a response, Alastor pushed past us and picked up the box. His whole body began to tremble at the contents. “What? What is it?” Harriet asked, walking to her mate but gasped loudly when she peered over his shoulder. One hand flew to her mouth and the other to Alastor’s shoulder. “Rose, where did you get this?” Alastor snapped as he turned on his heel to face us. Alastor was a person who kept his emotions in check and rarely let them show to anyone. His face flushed with anger and fear.

I was looking for him, but I was not the only one. A presence shifted behind me. I did not turn immediately. There was no need. “You think too loudly,” a familiar voice said. I exhaled slowly. “You always appear where you are not welcome.” Alastor stepped into view with his usual calm, the kind that came from knowing most people could not touch him even if they tried.
