Before I can even budge from my seat, a head pops around the corner. "We'll be heading off in five. Hope you girls are ready for a party." Alastaire leans against the doorway, still wearing the white v-neck top and skinny jeans he wore on stage. He always looks sort of angelic in photos and videos, (inhumanely perfect according to Jamie), and the real life version doesn't disappoint. Tall and lean with clear blue eyes and a halo of messy gold hair, beautiful is the only word that does him justice. In fact, he's prettier than most girls.

I couldn't help but notice his deviance as soon as the door opened. “He's still wearing a mask?! Aish,” I grumbled to myself. I hovered over his posture once more, almost spitting at what I saw. Despite the fact that he was wearing a mask, this one was undeniably stylish. He's tall and muscular, with white skin and a beautiful face. Oh, my majesty! His long eyelashes, his deep blue orbs, then any woman who looks will surely shed panty in grace. That appears to be pulling and has the potential to drown someone simply by looking into his eyes. “Mate,” we both mumbled, causing everyone in the room to gasp.

Round sparking blue eyes. That is the description of your new breeder,” Alfos could very much refer to her as his new victim. The word breeder made it sound mild. “Nice.” He continued walking, shoving past the sentinels and male servants that littered the tower. “What if she’s not fit to be my breeder?”

But everything happened so fast after that. My body emitted a light, and it came from my stomach. The white mist enveloped me as his hand halted precisely at my chest. I felt his claws pierce my skin, but he didn’t go further, as if he were frozen or he had chosen not to go through with it. “No!” he hissed. Alastor’s black eyes widened as he threw his body back and landed on his ass. I still couldn’t move, but I could see him inching backward, his claws gripping the earth, and his expression was far from surprised — he was terrified.

His steps were as silent as a snake's. What does he want now? He couldn't even speak and yet he's coming after me because I called him a demon? I thought demons were supposed to know they're demons? He kept coming closer without a single word coming out of his mouth. Did I forget to mention he's 193 cm tall? His height made him look like a giant coming toward me, and I'm only 155 cm tall. "Don't come any closer!" I said with a loud shaky voice, shoving my backpack above my head.

I let out in a panicked whisper, unable to find my voice as he easily spun me around to face him. I looked up at his tall stature, craning my neck to look into his eyes. I was no short woman, in fact that is what made me so famous: it was my height. I stood at 1.79 metres and towered over most of the people, but compared to Master Abigor, I seemed so short. I reached by his shoulder, in fact, I believe just below the height of his shoulders. It made him all the more threatening.

“He's just a child Alastor, for God's sake! He's the same age as your daughter! He's already suffered enough with that curse! As a father, don't you have any compassion?!” “Compassion?!” Alastor laughed even louder. “He's not my child! Compassion? (spits out harshly) Don't be ridiculous. That child will threaten my throne!” Ben stared silently at Alastor. Alastor was overcome with anger, envy, and jealousy. He couldn't be persuaded by anything. He wondered how he could reach Cyrus. Even though he was a wizard, werewolves possessed incredible strength and speed. He would be caught before he could reach Cyrus. Dal moved forward, but Ben blocked him.

I asked when her hand tightened around mine. She nodded her head, and I immediately willed our bodies to be sucked into limbo, landing on the foot of Alastor’s massive bed. Four females were around him, each of them sucking a part of his body. Alastor pushed the female nearest to him, and the other scampered away, hissing at the disturbance, while the demon prince’s eyes were blazing with fire as he looked at me. "[Who gave you the right to enter this tower?]" He snarled, his demon fangs erupting from his gums.

Cal had to fight himself from stepping in front of the man as he moved closer to Astasha. If she was afraid, she wasn’t showing it. But even if Calder hadn’t been able to feel it through their connection, he knew her enough to know that she had set her resilience, and she would die before she would show them what they wanted; shame and humility. “Sorceress Astasha, I presume,” Said the mage. “I am High Sorcerer Alaric. I’ve heard much about you, but I am so looking forward to hearing your explanation as to why we are here.”

“What did you say to me?” Alstra walked up slowly and looked to be my nemesis. “Oh oh,” she said with a grin. “Looks like you've pissed the big guys on your first day.” The man himself looked…inhuman. Red thick skin that shines like bronze, two large horns protruding from his head. I scrambled to my feet and swallowed. He was easily over seven feet, the tallest I had ever seen and somehow I pissed him off. “I was just standing….” “You do not speak to me,” his voice echoed in the silence. “Lower demons do not speak to me.”
