My officers found couches to sit on. "Good morning, your Majesty," Gabriel and Isreal greeted me, and I responded. "What is this?" I asked them. "The map of Forest. I know you said that you wouldn't want to fight in Riverhead, so they don't destroy the work done. So we are mapping out where the battle might likely occur, and it is here. Greystone valley. They must pass through here to come to Riverdale before entering the Oakland Forest and going to any part of the forest they desire. In this case, it will be Riverehead.

Liam: “This is a rough sketch of the plain that my men put together. We have marked areas where the cluster of people from east kingdom is more concentrated.” Everyone around the table stood up at the same time as they studied the map in front of them. Corenlius turned to Bari “Do you have any input? This is your land after all….” Bari was also seriously studying the map at this time; his eyes reflected genuine admiration as he nodded “This is definitely a very accurate depiction of my land. I can assist with a route to get to most of these places by avoiding detection.” He picked up a quill and started making dotted lines, with the house they were in as the centre point. Every bone in my body screamed for me to run, but I didn't dare move as I knew my mother's life was literally in that devil's hands now and if I ever want to see her again, I would need to find out just what that relic or whatever secret weapon the Crescent have is. Alpha Kelan’s POV “Are you sure about this, Alpha?” Liam, my lieutenant, placed the map carefully across the long oak table in my office. The parchment spread wide beneath the dim golden light of the fire sconces, marked with borders, forests, neighboring pack routes, and the villages that surrounded our kingdom. I stared at it for a long moment before exhaling slowly. “Do you have a better idea?” I asked, my tone calm but tired. Liam hesitated.

[The Command Center – 4:00 AM] Phoenix sat at the terminal, the blue light reflecting in the blood on her fingers—his blood, from where she had brushed the railing. The Deep Abyss Ruins. The map glowed blood-red on the screen. It was a place of eternal fire, a volcanic pocket where the Northern tectonic plates ground together like teeth. "Mommy?" Leo walked into the room, holding the origami wolf. He looked at the map, then at his mother’s pale, frozen face. "The Alpha is going to the fire mountain, isn't he?" Leo whispered. "We are all going, Leo," Phoenix said, her voice a vow of iron. "But first... we have to get you ready."

Gabriel reviewed a map with soldiers. Fenrir moved next to Gabriel while I stood awkwardly between Winter and Oragon. Winter eyed me. “Do you run fast?” “I don’t know… average?” I said. He leaned in like he was sharing a secret. “You’ll need to run faster.” Oragon gently pulled Winter back by the collar. “Stop scaring her.” Winter scoffed. “I’m not scaring her. I’m preparing her.” “That is scaring her.” Gabriel approached us with a rolled map. “Sector Six borders the old ruins. We’ll travel by foot. Stay sharp. Stay quiet. And above all—stay together.”

“But I’ve been dead in this house for years. Helping you… it makes me feel alive again.” The lump in my throat grows harder. “Tobias…” He sits on the edge of the bed, pulling a folded paper from his pocket. “Here.” He smooths it across his knee—a map drawn in rough lines. “This is the forest. Follow this path north until you reach the river. Walk in the water if you can, it hides the scent better. From the river, keep heading east. A day’s journey. If you don’t stop, you’ll reach your mates’ territory.”

I unrolled it carefully. A map. Three blood moons etched in ink. One mark claimed. Another awakened. The third… still dormant. I looked at Azelia, then my sister. “There’s another?” Azelia frowned. “No. There were only ever three of us.” “Maybe,” Bianca murmured. “Or maybe the third moon doesn’t represent a person…” Her voice dropped. “But a place.” We looked at the map again. The final moon was marked deep in the Eastern Reach lands abandoned long ago after the First Fall. Places none dared return to.

Nobody questions my decisions. Anger burns in my veins. I will not surrender again. Can’t tell you rn. Just sneak out. It’s a mess out here. Your father is pissed as hell. He is spitting fire. Ibhaan and he had a drift in the lobby. He accused Alpha of your absurdities…long story. Just get the fuck out of there. Julie replies briefly. Next, I receive a map carved on tissue paper. There are around seven polka dots plotted on the lines. Beneath it, the marks are explained. The shaded circles are marked territory. The crosses are guards I’d be dodging. The red outline is the route I’d be following.

I feel sorry for them, and the adaption it will take them to get used to it here. When I find a small piece of laminated paper in the bedside table draw, I brighten a little. It is a full map of the entire building. It seems so much bigger, when I look at it from this map, with all its stories and what not. However, one half of the map is crossed with a large X, which leads me to assume that is where the Alpha's family stay. Somewhere forbidden to commoners such as myself. It's not that, though, that catches my eye. It's the small square sketched into the room, with the word library on it. Something tells me Alpha Malik might just have a library with better books in it...
