Instantly, a detailed map of the Black Market sprawled across the display, resembling a typical mobile app map. Numerous buildings dotted the map, each marked distinctly. The KariBlanc Group gave off a ‘blue’ glow, which was meant to signify the starting point of the journey.

Nicola could feel the triplets’ tension, their gazes locked on the map. “We’ll deal with the nexus later,” Dylan said finally, his voice steady. “For now, we focus on the altars. If we weaken the grid, it’ll be easier to destroy the source.” Damien nodded. “What’s the next altar on the map?” Marla pointed to a location in the forest’s northern region. “Here. It’s near the boundary of the pack’s territory. It’ll be harder to reach, but it’s a critical point in the grid.”

“The real map. One you won't find so easily. ” I narrowed my eyes. “You’ve been holding out on us.” He didn’t deny it. “I was waiting to see if you’d be stupid enough to try,” he said, voice low. “Now I know you are. So I might as well help you live through it.” He jabbed a weathered finger at the center of the scroll. It showed the Nytherra lands, but this version read deeper into the north. Black mountains. Winding ravines. Symbols in a language I barely understood.

“What’s beyond the bounds of our kingdom, Father?” I recognize the facial expression that takes hold of our father then. It’s the mask he wears in front of his subjects to avoid giving anything away. “What do you mean?” he asks innocently. My brows furrow slightly, my gaze darting between my conniving brother and the Alpha King. “Beyond this map,” Diego specifies, “south of the Royal Palace grounds, north of the eight territories, east or west in either direction. What did I find when I went off the pages of our endless, identical maps?”

He inhaled sharply, nostrils flaring. “Wait!!” “What is it?” I asked, my voice getting hoarse. “I can smell something faint from this paper… old wood, dust...” His eyes snapped open as he sniffed the paper deeply. “That’s from your old pack’s ruins. Of course. It came from Alpha Bran’s territory. That’s why we couldn’t find them till now.” Within a few minutes, Kieran spread a map in front of his warriors. He pointed sharply to the outskirts of the old part of the Shadowmoon lands, now acquired by Alpha Bran.

The grief. “Retrieve that scroll,” the King’s voice said, low and steady. “On the far end of that shelf.” He was looking at it, rather than pointing. I fetched the scroll, thin but long. When I brought it to him, the King unfurled it over the top of his desk, spread over documents and open books alike. It was a map of the realm. There were the werewolf territories, boundaries drawn between the claimed land, the Lycan palace at the heart of the kingdom– skirted by the capital city. In faint detail, there were also terrain shown.

Evelyn took a deep breath. Then spoke carefully. "The map inside you..." Althea already disliked where this was heading. "...isn't merely showing the path." Silence. Then: "What does that mean?" Evelyn looked toward the northern horizon. Toward the impossible mountain. Toward the First Path. And finally answered. "The map isn't guiding you to the source." A chill ran through Althea. Because suddenly she understood. Or at least part of it. "No." Evelyn nodded slowly.

And there was something inside, something barely visible through the scarred greenish material. She pulled the stopper open and pulled out of paper. It was folded into a tight square. She carefully opened it, trying not to fear the fragile paper. Her eyes widened. It was a map of Abasia Kingdom, this is not just for Abasia Kingdom but comprises of different kingdoms and nations . . . and much more. "What is this? And why me," Princess Diana's hands began to tremble. He looked out to the horizon. There was nothing out there. Noting at all . . . was there?

“Here’s the map.” Arose from nothing was a map. It spreads across the round table and every detail of it was so clear. A copy of the entire Claveria Haltera map but only the Kitezh north was on it. Mainly the lands of three werewolf territories; the Abberant, Madfur Okami, and the Shadowstone. “The main frontier was situated lying trigon.
