Alden Kotlc Novels & Stories

She knew everything happening in the throne room, in the upper chambers, in the Elders’ court, but I still did not believe this one gossip until now. How invitations flew so fast was something I thought I should be wary of. Maybe, every notable person in our pack and other packs beyond ours believed that Alpha Colten should not perish in his grief. They seemed to have all advised him to do the needful and move on. Hence, their massive turn-up. I could recognize a few of the foreign bigwigs who were present. There was the tall one known as the Frost. His real name according to Mirian was Alpha Alfred of White Lake pack.

Alden seemed unsurprised. He reached into an old leather satchel beside his chair. Then removed a folded document. Not ancient. Not part of the council archives. Something older. Handwritten. Protected carefully. He set it on the table. "Before we continue, there is something you should know." Lotty glanced at the paper. "What?" Alden looked directly at her. "You're having boys." The room went completely silent. Lotty stared. Decker froze. "What?" Alden's expression remained calm. "Two sons."

Who knows what the consequences would be, but I’m willing to sacrifice. Alden sighs, before he gets to his feet. He really is so tall. I watch him as he crosses the room, each stride so fluid. He pulls out a draw from a chest, pulling something out. When he comes back and lays it out in front of me, I realise it’s a thick portfolio, which he flips open. The first is a sketch of a pattern. It’s long and thin, swirling around like branches of a very spindly tree. “This is one of the many markings Time leaves,” Alden tells me, fingers moving around each pattern. “We have concluded that it is the most common. It’s perhaps a lower tier.”

Her words, filled with a plea for help, resonate in the air, a poignant reminder of the interconnectedness that binds their pack together in times of need. "Uncle, please... can you ask Felicia to help me out? I have been hurt," Alexa's voice trembles with a mixture of pain and hope, seeking solace in the form of aid from another pack member. In response, Alpha Kaden's voice carries a reassuring tone as he addresses her, a blend of compassion and authority woven into his words.

Alden says, his voiced cautioning. "If this woman is your mate, surely she must know these things," Lena says, undeterred by Alden's tone. "I'm not so certain that I am Alden's mate," I say, interjecting their exchange. "Oh," Lena says and expression flashes through her face, too quick for me to understand. "That is alright then. You should not worry yourself about potions and what-not." "Cathy is my mate," Alden says emphatically. "Trouble in paradise," Karken whispers cynically under his breath.

Thankfully, Nate and Serene are ignoring us now, "Were here", Cole states. I looked out the window. HOLY FUCK! This place is a castle compared to my old packhouse. s since Roland is a king, it would be anyway. There is a long driveway accented with bricks on each side that leads to the packhouse. Security is placed at the borders all around the perimeter. I can tell some are humans. There are little houses along the road that look like they are spread out over 2 miles long that Roland says is for mated wolves with families. He laughs at my amazement as I take it all in. I can see the castle like a packhouse as we get closer to it. Welcome to the Black Alder lands, my queen," Roland said as I

“What?! You-” “Girls. Please.” They both settle before apologizing. I walk back to Viktor and join him just in time to hear him finishing up with Andre. “All set,” I ask. “Yep. Where is Alden?” “With the wolves,” I respond. “He isn't very comfortable with bringing in wolves from such a pack and is convinced that some of them are spies. So, he is determined to stick to them like glue.” “Hm, I know the feeling,” Viktor remarks. “I almost feel bad for them. Almost.”
