I looked at my paperwork in confusion. "This says I'm AB. What type would Mom have been for us to be AB and O? If she and Patrick were both O, could I be AB that way?"

she replied. They went to the lab, and she drew some blood from Amelia’s arm. After playing with the blood sample for a few minutes, she narrowed her eyes and said, “Your blood group is AB and not O. I guess they must have made a mistake during testing when you were little. Good thing I tested you again, else it would have been disastrous.” Theresa said to her.

It was like a miracle and Jude and I shared a surprised look before I turned back to the doctor. "I guess we have a donor after all," I said. "Do you know someone?" The Doctor asked and I shook my head. "AB negative is my blood type." The doctor adjusted his glasses again, eyes widening slightly in shock. "That is almost impossible, the blood type is a really rare one. Are you sure about this Alpha?" "We can do the questioning later, first, let's attend to the boy. Where do I sit?" The doctor although still not over his shock led me into one of the ward rooms.

"We don't have the same blood type. Should I start looking for another donor? I'm type AB negative. What is Alison's blood type?" Clark looked at the papers first that were in his hand before looking at me and answering. "Alison is type AB negative." I smiled widely. "Yes!" I felt happy that I didn't have to look for donors. "Where can I get blood drawn for the kid—" "That's not all I found out." Clark interrupted what I was going to say. "According to the test I did, you two have the same white blood cells." My face was wrinkled. "Clark, speak English, please. Why is it bad? That would be better, right? So it means that our blood really matches."
