Alien Predator Hunt Begins Novels & Stories

A loud animalistic growl escapes from his throat, my life seems to flash before my eyes as he cast his red burning gaze at me. Kael was right, Talon Aspen is the Klux, the killer and obviously not Alvarez's son and right now, the fierce predator seems to have found his prey and it is none other than me, Lilac Hirav-Aapen. “You’re not the bitch, Sophie. She is.” Before she could reply, comms crackled. “Priority target acquired. We need hostages. Higher the better.” A thunderous howl split the air. Sophie and Bobby turned just in time to see a massive wolf thrash in the distance, silver netting dragging him down. The Alpha. Hunters swarmed, securing the prisoner as orders barked to pull back. Choppers lifted into the smoky night, the elite squad whisked away, leaving the hunter army to finish clearing the settlement.

Her eyes scan the ground to where the baseball bat lies between the two of them. "Oh, I don't need a weapon. Rather, I enjoy getting my hands dirty." Hunter declares, flexing his arm as he cracks his knuckles, making the tattoo of the scythe or a Grimm Reaper's blade twist on his arm in a menacing manner. The woman takes one look at the tattoo before gulping. Hunter takes a challenging step towards her, forcing her to take a step backward. The woman stumbles once more, petrified, as tears begin to slip from her eyes.

I took a step forward and let my voice ring out over the expectant crowd. "We've all had a pretty rough month," I started, my eyes scanning across the faces of my packmates. "I got mated, and the Demon Wolf emerged, leaving destruction in its wake. Our people-our fellow wolves-were slaughtered. We lost too much." I let my words settle for a moment, the weight heavy in the air. "But tonight," I continued, my voice rising, "tonight is a new beginning. Tonight is the full moon night, and it is the night of *The Hunt!*"

CHAPTER THREE HUNTER’S POV Nightfall approached quicker than I had anticipated and from where I sat peeling a tangerine while watching crackles of the open fire I’d built outside the house; I couldn’t help but think about her rather beguiling yet strange and dangerous predicament. It was almost suicidal. My eyes involuntarily settled on her face across the fire. The flames caressed her face and once again, I found myself clawed with a certain hunger. Fuck! She was not mine and I knew better than to cross that damn alpha. She had her knees drawn up against her, hugging them while staring into the flames, a distant look in the green of her eyes. “I’m sorry. I’m sorry, Skylar. Mrs. Blackwell, I’m so sorry.” And then she shifted. A dark, regal wolf, feral and breathtaking. The most beautiful thing I had ever seen. She bolted into the night. I tried to follow, but my human legs were no match. She wouldn’t answer my calls. That was the last I ever saw her— Until now. *** Now… Blood dripped down the knife. And my fingers. I tilted my head, nose wrinkled. He fucking smelled like a pig. Alexei sat strapped to the chair—face swollen, uniform shredded, blood oozing from wounds on his lap and shoulders. Snort, sweat, and salt-drenched fear.

"One last thing, the prey this year is human. Hence, all wolves involved in the chase are hereby banned from shifting. With that being said, I shifted uncomfortably on my feet, my eyes roaming the audience. They were eager. I was terrified. The hunt I'd tried to avoid was finally happening. "Take off your blindfolds." I didn't see anyone else. I couldn't. They all looked the same. Big builds, trained physiques as their eyes found one another, playful promises of a fair competition were exchanged. Astrid was the only one who didn't take her gaze off me. They held a promise of retribution... to finish what she had started. And with a single shot fired, the game began.

Pain rips through my skull even without touching me. “AMBUSH!!!!” Jaxon roars and his men scatter. I move fast. I rip a net free before it fully deploys and throw it back. It catches a hunter mid-step, slams him into a tree. A bullet pierces through me as the shock clips my arm. I grunt but keep moving. Midnight surges, furious. She wants to help but she can’t. I take down three hunters without shifting. I used my dagger, going for their throat. One of them stares at me, eyes wide. “It’s her…..”

But no I’m alive and I get to decide who I live this life. In the beginning of my departure I was careless, I got close to peter, just a kid really but I was vulnerable and I needed a friend, I didn’t know the human world and he had such a wide view of it. I just latched onto him and became attached. I was optimistic for finally becoming independent and doing my own thing so I didn’t hide much or try to conceal myself so I basically made it easy for the hunters to find me. The hunter ripped through him without a second thought.
