Khan stepped backward, away from the prey, and took a quick glance at the moon. The whole place became silent. Their silence was a sign of respect for the life that had been taken. Now the Alpha had officially declared the hunt open. The rustling sounds of other wolves behind us, charging in different directions, set the atmosphere in a more exciting mood.
