Every fiber of my being urged me to escape, to reach the safety of the console and somehow, somehow, close the rift. Alexander, the futuristic weapon clutched tightly in his hand, led the charge. Sarah stumbled along beside him, her face contorted in pain as she tried to support Dr. Wright's weight. The creature, momentarily stunned by the energy blasts, lumbered after us, its red eyes burning with a malevolent light.

Mechanical arms unfolded from the walls, and the hum of power turned into a deafening roar. Evelyn fired first, shattering the control panel beside the clone. Sparks rained down. AX-01 moved faster than humanly possible, lunging forward with inhuman grace. Alexander intercepted him, the two slamming into the glass wall with enough force to crack it. “Run!” Alexander shouted. “I’m not leaving you!” Evelyn screamed back, firing at the clone again. The bullets slowed him but didn’t stop him — he healed, nanites sealing the wounds instantly. AX-01 grabbed Alexander by the throat and hurled him across the room. The impact knocked the wind out of him, blood splattering against the metal.

One moment he was thirty feet away; the next, he was a blur of charcoal-grey alloy slamming into Xander’s chest. Xander, usually the immovable object of the Citadel, was thrown backward. His boots carved deep, jagged trenches into the obsidian floor as he struggled to maintain his Grounding Circuit. "Caleb, snap out of it!" Xander roared, his voice cracking with a pain that had nothing to do with his broken ribs. He flared his silver Alpha aura, trying to create a Pulse-Buffer to push the creature back. The thing that used to be Caleb tilted its head. The obsidian mirrors of its eyes didn't reflect the room; they reflected a streaming scroll of violet code.

"Yes. Thanks Win. I'll go home when it's all over and getting better." Call closed. “One of your problems is solved bro… you just have to find out that guy named Alex Xander… then your life can go back to normal.” Alex started the conversation. “Arsen said he wanted to introduce me to his friend who is also a hacker… he said he could help find out who the man is.” “What is clear… AX, that Alexander is not a random man… he can have such great power… so you have to be careful…” Logan held Beth's hand, "There's Alex and Alicia, I'll go to Arsen first.. ask about a friend who can help... okay?"

Lara pursed her lips and shrugged slightly. “This is Alexa, she will follow you 24x7” Ben pointed at the violet-colored stone face and then turned to Lara “This is Alessia, she will follow 24x7” Ed raised his eyebrows. “Do you really think she’ll listen to you and not do anything?” Ben smirked in response. “Don’t know about yours…. Mine will!” Ed sat back with his arms crossed. “Mine won’t…” Ben agreed “So I just have to work on counter measures.”

I tried to locate the bleeding spot but it seemed to come from different part of her body. "Who could do this?" ,I muttered silently to myself. I pushed back my thoughts and focused on the task at hand. I used my powers to slow the bleeding so she doesn't go into anemic shock(caused by lack of blood). I say, remembering Thayer's promise to aid us. Max goes to speak, but he's cut off when King Armaros and Azrael appear out of nowhere. Seth, Max, and Aston all jump. "Fuck." Aston mutters Amara smiles, getting off my lap and hugging both men. "Sup, Az?" Seth says, fist-bumping Azrael "Sorry we're late; what did we miss?" Azrael asks fist bumping Seth back and clapping him on the shoulder "Not much, we just started," I say, standing. "Armaros, Azrael, this is my beta Aston and my Gamma Max," I say, gesturing to both of them. Everyone exchanges polite nods as Amara, and I sit back down.
